23 December, 2010
The first to 4G - for the third time. Except of course it really is for the first time. But don't let carrier's aggressive marketing get in the way of the exciting tease from HTC - a new 4G phone to be announced on...

[deleted post]LTE is the only real 4G because it's actually a whole new standard (coming right after WCDMA in the GSM branch of evolution), rather than an improvement of an old one (HSPA+ is just a WCDMA update).

The WiMax protocol on the other hand is a completely different thing and doesn't supersede any cell phone network standard so it cannot be 4G (it's the first of its kind after all).

a 4G requirement are 100Mbit/s for high mobility and 1Gbit/s for low mobility and none of LTE n WIMAX meet that requirement, the first 4G are LTE advanced which is upgraded version of LTE. hope that explain this misunderstanding

Exa, 23 Dec 2010Actualy LTE aren't true 4G it still 3.9G, the true 4G are L... moreThis is truth. 4G network must have at least 1Gbps download and LTE didn't offer that. So there will be LTE Advanced that will enable that speed.

this should be good... but there's no use if the highlight is only 4G, it should be dual core too. and off course, the good battery.
