    [deleted post]Smart people actually have logic in mind, science, and reason. There is zero logic nor reason not to exchange this recalled product when one has the opportunity to do so, especially when Samsung engineers themselves admitted that corners were being cut and there are risks. Simple logic.

    Of course, people like you with a 2-year-old mentality wouldn't understand.

If the basic options in the settings menu to disable updates don't work, then root your phone and disable the updates, remove the update services, install a firewall and confiugre it to block all background connections, except to the browser and some other apps you need, ... There are so many ways to avoid updates.

                Anonymous, 17 Nov 2016You can avoid it updating if you know what you're doing.No! Samsung will force the device to update it. It cannot be stopped even if you disable all the auto-updates or any sorts unless you will not connect the phone through wifi. Please read previous articles.

                                Going for over £1200 on ebay now ($1500).
                                If I had the money I'd get one, I reckon they'll be worth alot in years to come.
