Lex, 26 Dec 2010U mad? They're using the 7230!there is no 7230 or 7630, it's 8255 and 8655, projects were started with 7x30 but changed to 8x55 to have better clocking speeds for 1G.

I think their latest phone released is older than a year or two. Cant they make new phones faster and should announce and release with faster updates.

All the interest in the phone is lost when they are released, because of the time gap between announcement and release is very large as compared to other manufacturers. But the product is of best quality.

Write it off, but dont b surprised to see it doing well next year. Even iphone was n is lauahed at, by many "smart" smartphone users. Yet every phone released is coined as the "ultimate" iphone-killer. (n be assured, trend will stay the same, so wont b hearing n8-killer or sgs-killer or etc). N who knows, this phone may create a similar standard in hard-core phone gaming. Then d tegra2 powered androids will get labelled as xperia play-killers. Dont judge without hearing d case; let the proceedings begin next yr first.

SE... moreSE can not make good phones, even though they use Android that is far better than any Symbian, even if SE is a so slow company that they always put an outdated Android-version in their phones and are slooooow to update to newer Android-versions. Samsung may be "plastic" but Galaxy S is far better than any of the "X"-phones from SE.

Are you kidding me or what!!? Nokia and Samsung don't stand a chance infront of Sony,
Sony is way way cooler than any nokia or cheap samsung. Sony is in the lead and others follow.

From my point of view, the XPERIA PLaY to be a huge/moderate success should have at least these specs as a minimum if its intended for some serious mobile gaming..
1: Dual Core CPU: Because at that resolution the Cpu is doing the heavy work, unless optimized differently.
2: Tegra 2 Graphics capabilities or similary powerful graphics processor.
3: And finaly I believe 768-1GB of Ram also is a must.
4: And a OLED/SAMOLED/AMOLED screen is also a must for its purpose.
As for the rest of the specs, its up to them ofcourse..
With all the above mentioned, they will probably drive the price really high. And paying 700-1000euro(theoretically speaking) for a "PSP" with phone capabilities, when the psp is so cheap(not comparing, just refereeing) is a bit TOO much. And lets not forget the other mobile consoles as well..
And on a side note. I would hate to see what you will do when you empty the battery and an emergency comes up and are helpless..
Because it has happened to me and I can tell you, it NOT a nice feeling lying helpless with a dead phone because you drained the battery and didnt have time/forgot to charge it..

SE are really unique and different and this is what's special about them! They are not wannabes like samsung or lg, no Sony is original.
I truly love their UI and animations in their phones, simple yet makes a lot of difference.

se are dead atm , i used to love se. Sony will not let se ruin thier ps brand believe me. And other brands high end phones are already better then what se will offer
