Always loved Nokia.
See them creating a product with 3 distinguishing aspects
1. Imaging
2. Virtual reality
3. Health
Dont see them as one of many in an already over crowded market

AnonD-429732, 19 Nov 2016Lost so much money (Stocks) back when Nokia was falling. Al... morethey wanted to develop their own OS, that is not being idiotic, that is part of business, nobody is always successful, Samsung and Apple had their downfall, just not with the OS like what happened to Nokia when Microsoft took the opportunity and wasted the giant that revolutionized the first batch of mobile phones

Lost so much money (Stocks) back when Nokia was falling. Always thought they would make a smart move and recover. They failed due to not embracing Android. They were a stubborn company back then. They kept defending and making their Symbian devices when the market was screaming at them to embrace Android. They never listened and then decided somehow that Windows was the way to go. (SMH). That's when I finally gave up and consider them idiots. Nokia had a free to license Operating System (Android), yet did nothing to jump onboard.
Nokia could of been the number 3 player after Samsung and Apple but they choose to dig themselves in the grave by keeping their aging Operating System alive against general public interest. Last device I owned was a Nokia N900. Promising device but even then they let go of Meego Operating System in its infancy.
Hopefully now they learned from their mistakes and don't become fools. It happened to Sony, and then to Nokia. Top dogs that failed to see the vision. Was like watching someone stick to their VCR's or Cassette Players when C.D's and DVD's were the new format.

KMB877, 18 Nov 2016If I understood corectly, next year I'll be able to buy two... moreNokia own the patents, and what normally happens is a cross licensing agreement with Microsoft.
Just before Apple began to sue Samsung for copyright infringement Apple itself was sued by Nokia as incorporated many features that Nokia
Apple conceded and pays Nokia a licensing fee
For each device that ios runs on.
To all Apple iPhone user ios borrowed many features that Nokia created.
Nokia using Symbian was alone an unique
Nokia using Windows became the 4th OS
available
Whilst I look forward to Nokia phones again it joins the overcrowded world of Android so I doubt it will add anything new that it will add anything that you have not already see on the many devices already on offer

KMB877, 18 Nov 2016If I understood corectly, next year I'll be able to buy two... moreNot at all. Microsoft only got the patents related to Lumia's design, and some years of licensing for the rest of the portfolio.
