Safe? Samsung is good at joking because there's another explosion case with the S7 (again). I don't call it safe. I'd rather not to waste my time and money buying products from this company because they're not even worth it. You call that innovation? I call that a waste of money. Why? Because soon such thing will go mainstream anyway and price go down. You can even found 4GB RAM of smartphone everywhere starts at 200$

The galaxy note 7 is perfectly fine, the ones that exploded/caught fire were used by thick minded people who don't know how use an advanced smartphone hence doing something on the phone such as leaving apps running or using fast charge a lot to cause the CPU to heat the battery to explode.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3a03VkKrnz8&t=4s There are still note 7s out there that are perfectly fine

Its fun to see how people blame Samsung when others phone are prone to the battery issues. The battery is a problem for every single manufacturer. They need to find an alternate solution to li-ion battery or whatever its called, so that technology keep moving forward. Imagine a phone with a a smaller safer battery which could provide days of heavy duty usage. That would be awesome.

Maybe the thousands of remaining note 7 users out there understood the risk they are taking for keeping the note 7 so whenever their note 7s are getting hot, they stop using? I just don't know.

Right now I have a galaxy note 4. I was going to get the Note 7 but after what happened I now don't know what to do. Im stuck between the pixel xl or the s7 edge. I might also wait for the s8. This doesn't help.

I am a happy Note 4 owner. Im forced to use a wireless charger because my USB port is broken. Before they discontinued the Note 7 I knew that was the phone I wanted. Now I don't know what to do. If more stuff comes out about the S7 edge I'll probably get the Pixel XL. I also might wait for the S8.
