I think even download them won't be the problem( except the size). Because all of these movies that sold from Google's playstore, it is in YouTube(forever), so that you can watch them whenever you want. It problem is that the SD(standard HD quality), it is 480p and it is very bad quality for its price(s)! 12.99 - 14.99 are SD(up to 480p), 16.99 - 19.99+ are HD( from the worst to 1080p).
The SD quality are so bad that even watching them on the phone screen are sometimes unbearable!

The price of movies at google play is more than the price of movie tickets.. LoL.

I wish Google Play would offer the same extras features that are offered on other services.

Lol nice...unless they implement hevc the sizes are going to be huge..for example an mp4 720p rip from youtube is around 1-2gb, full hd goes to around 4gb..so uhd will mean about 10gb..

Nice but one 4K movie would be of huge size..

This is stupid for Google! Why keep SD(480p)? They should have go with 720p as standard, and get rid of the 1080p and just use 720p as standard HD quality and 4k as UHD quality. That way they can re-adjust the prices to be more reasonable.

"The prices are higher than the SD version but not significantly so."

Its double the price of the HD option!
