Cheap smartwatches like DZ09, U8, GT08 already have more functions than these overpriced branded smartwatches. If I want to buy expensive watch, I'll buy an automatic.

rcl4444, 21 Nov 2016No. Samsung runs all its watches and TVs on Tizen now. Tho... moreSamsung Gear S3 gives you over 2 days full usage (2 full days + 5 hours). The watch quality is very good. The classic version (without LTE) is luxurious. The build quality is fantastic. The watch speaker is decent same as the phone's speaker. Voice quality is reasonable. The text and picture quality on the watch are excellent. 'Always On' feature is very usefull. A lot of face watches are avaiable and most of them are free and in good quality. Tizen much more better Android Wear. Good value for the money spent. In my opinion the best smart watch at the moment in the market.

Doesn't justify the price, not viewed as fashion item.

I have a small wrist. I hope Samsung would release a smaller version of Gear S3 Frontier. Indeed I hope the smartwatch can be totally independent of the smartphone as I have recently switched to Lumia 950XL Windows phone and I like it a lot. Don't think I would switch back to Android or iOS any time soon.

nkwama, 21 Nov 2016There will be an Android OS version right? No. Samsung runs all its watches and TVs on Tizen now. Though as far as smartwatches go the general consensus of what I've read is Tizen gives a better overall experience over Andriod Wear (at the moment). Does leave tied to the mercy of Samsung to keep updates rolling out - and so far they've been ok at this with their smart watches at least.

If i was in the market for one this is probably the watch I'd buy. However I'm holding off to next year. I think in 2017 there will actually be enough improvements in efficiency and features of smart watches as a whole to start making them practical... as in not using to worry about your usage in order to get at least a true full day and more out of them.

nkwama, 21 Nov 2016There will be an Android OS version right? Tizen Os is more intuitive. I have used both tizen and Android but Tizen is so much better and easy to use.
