Wouldn't it have made more sense to get a matte version? Considering the current black is glossy anyway and prone to scratches?

Apple is always copying from every brand.'
Everyone knows that the name Apple was given so that they could be before IBM, their main rival, in any phone book. Who did they copy the name, logo, device names & software names from?
& yes, Steve Jobs said that he did copy but he also said that he makes them better, as does every company think that when copying an idea. From the camera to the speakers to the OS to the design to the port placement to the home button placement, it is all a copy of something.

There was a lawsuit that was done & then all of a sudden Samsung release an all glass backed phone similar to the iPhone 4. It only benefits us as the user if companies copy ideas & implement their own ideas to make it more suited to them.
I am pretty sure when the 6/6+ rumours came out there was a leaked patent for dual curved edged iPhones then. (http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sciencetech/article-2521929/Could-iPhone-6-CURVED-Apple-granted-patent-convex-screen.html from 2013).
If I am honest, I think it is more software that Apple copy from Samsung/Android & I welcome the changes that have happened over the years.

If we go by your logic, in 2014 Apple had launched the bigger iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus to take on Samsung Galaxy Note and S series. Was that considered copying to you? Did you considered Apple was the follower for launching bigger phones? I bet not -_-
