HTC 10 evo is now official as the international HTC Bolt

22 November 2016
Just as previously rumored, the pair appear to be identical in both hardware and appearance.

true that!!

Anonymous, 23 Nov 2016Well "real life" experience (Combined with the price) is ex... moreI coud say the same from all flagships out there. Pixel, no Waterproof, mediocre DAC, 2700 baterie, no removable batterie, only two memory options, without memory slot, ugliest flaghship ever, expensive. iPhone, Boring same design, that camera bump really? "Outdated" hardware (only processor is top of the line) still premium price, average DAC, mediocre batterie, no 3.5" jack, no removable baterie , no memory slot, no dual sim, bla bla bla. Still, i bet Both of this phones Will give fantastic experiences to their owners. If you only care about specs/price ratio go for xiaomi smartphones, one plus or ZTE.

No 3.5mm jack, no stereo speakers, mediocre battery (3200 will only be good for 3-5 hours on screen time, which is less than half a day. And not to mention being non-removable means it's a waste of money), mediocre screen to body ratio. It's exactly "real life experience" manufacturers are ignoring.

JackTheIPhoneKiller, 22 Nov 2016What is the point of this phone? Seriously, I don't get it. You need to visit this site more often

HTC not Huawei had just made the Pixel for Google, all HTC have to do is make a phone and leave enough for an upgrade http://www.gsmarena.com/compare.php3?idPhone1=8404&&idPhone2=8346

acemang, 22 Nov 2016i think people are way to focus on specs than real life exp... moreWhere price is concerned then yes specs matter. A LOT. This isn't charity and people are not asking for freebies especially when they're stumped looking at a dated SoC being used on top of being asked to pay a current level RRP for it?

In this case HTC should have used the best arguable comparative model and nothing comes closer (and exceeded tenfold) than Huawei's Nexus 6P which already beat this 10 Evo at multiple aspects not just on paper but also widely regarded as the best last Nexus by various tech/mobile phone blogs and news sites. Symbolically speaking that 3200mAh battery no matter what the next review would tell us on the final efficiencies' rate, is a downer because nothing wrong at giving expectant would be owners more bang for buck at more mAh rating. That's a simple fact at the very least HTC should have shown more effort to want to beat the Nexus 6P but clearly they don't.

i think people are way to focus on specs than real life experience. i still have a nexus 7 2013 with 0 lag fluid experience with 0 problems what so ever. its like saying to a automobile company when they release a new car with 115horses and 1500cc we laught because there cars out there with 10000 horses and 7000cc. welcome to 2010....or something.
when you buy a phone you need to focus what you need. i need a good phone, metal, i hate glass devices..i dont use protections, i hate them, never used them and never had a problem till now..since my iphone 3s till my blackberry z10. i-ve new eapards that cost me more than 300 euros, so i need a new phone with a good DAC (ive already external dac but dont want to n ormal use), a good screen, and a good solid build with good updates.
if pixel/nexus had a good dac it was my first choice. since it-s trash dac, its not on my list..samsang s7...glass, no DAC, general quality sucks (my girfriend have a A5 from last year it looks it have 10 years old) my BB10 have 3/4 years looks new. BB don't make anymore hardware so trash...LG sucks with lots of issues and never liked the brand, still have a good camera and a great DAC, but ugly design and like i said..trash quality. ONE PUS 3T..do DAC..trash...AXON 7...good DAC? warranty in my country is 0. updades are good? still 400 euros for 0 support is to much. HTC in my country if i've a problem i send them the phone with 0 cost. quality is very hight, and in general tics all the boxs, good screen, best DAC, good quality, good support. i'm tended to wait till 25 to buy the HTC 10. its really the only one that ticks most of my requests. if they fail on the EVO? for the nerds out there yes...they only see specs...for 90% of the people that dont have a clue that 820 means...maybe...it ticks most boxes for all the people, good sound (best DAC), good quality (gorilla glass 5/metal), good camera, enought battery (3200) what you want more for a phone, that open in 0.3 an app instead of 0.5? omg...i'm from a time that to open a program i needed to wait 5m...ya i know im getting old (good old spectrum)

AnonD-90109, 22 Nov 2016Your post and comparison makes no sense, you are comparing ... moreWhat he means is, even if the phone does have beast specs, nobody's gonna like it if it has the possibility of blowing up. That was what caused the Note 7 to become a failiure. Hell, if the battery's the nuclear bomb powering those specs, I wouldn't wanna be around it if it explodes. Doesn't matter if it's a good spec sheet if it's a health and safety hazard.

This phone's a failure, unless its real objective was to direct people to the HTC 10. Either way, any phone with no headphone jack is a massive turnoff for me. Plus the outdated hardware (albeit only by a bit) is still not appropriate for the actual price tag of this thing... HTC could do a lot better -_-

HTC man... How can this be more expensive than your flagship! If you really wanted more units to sell you could have just downgraded the HTC 10 with a 1080p panel, streamline the UI for nougat, give a different colour coat, call it "HTC 10 Life" and knock off 100 or so bucks. That was it. Result: more favourable perspective on your flagship, more income, more innovation.
