LG superfan, 24 Nov 2016Than it was the apps fault not so famous app developers don... moreNo, im talking about in general and to the fact that the system itself bottlenecks some of the applications, due to its heaviness. Its not just the app developers, its the system developers aswell that work with the company. By not fulfilling theyr needs and priorities over the speed of the system and jamming it with too many gimmicky specialities that most will never use (including senseless animations and incosistent transactions, which was explained that Google's stock animations serve as a fixing matter on the subject), theres really no excuse to forsee a device suffering from its native software and to an extend, 3rd party medium quality to high quality software, because the OS sometimes will fail to keep up, more usually than preferred. Yes i already know there are "tricks" that can suffice and almost aleviate the device from the missing animations and occasional stutter, but it should be more stable at the price point it asks for, when similar devices at lower price points dont suffer this much, even tough theyr skins can sometimes be poorly translated, glitchy in terms of its software exclusivities and whatnot. My opinion on the issue only, no need to start the Revenge of the Android wars due to such overview. Half of the users like it and the other half does not and i tough id just speak freely, since this forum is all about that.

It was applications randomly shutting down, system freezing and in general the phone would fail to open another application forwardly. I dont have the phone anymore .-.. That will help undoubtedly, but its not solely the animations :l.

It wasnt a chinese clone thats for sure, which is what some blurred folks are claiming. Thing is, this happened also with the Edge + before and it certainly was Touchwiz. Nova launcher cant fix most of the problems, because the system skin is still running on the background. Im not saying its terrible, but its not dude perfect like other users are reporting, it just isnt. Im not even gonna try to argue with those, because its useless.

Modern ph... moreYes they are, but its not overrated on a phone that suffers from that problem every 5 to 5 minutes. Dont get me wrong, i said the phones only become induced with it on certain scenarios, but even so, you dont expect to pay nearly 900€ for a phone and all of a sudden it just laggs or gets stuck while opening settings and alike, and when you try a 260€ phone (OnePlus X) and it just blazes trough the OS, even with a vastly inferior CPU and specifications overhaul. Most people will overcome it yes, but enthusiasts usually look somewhere else and that realm is Google and Motorola at most, if not IOS which is a totally different scenario and i dont even want to consider, since theres too much retardness on this forum from previous user comments.

LG superfan, 24 Nov 2016Used my firends G3 its pretty smooth sure LG UX is heavy sk... moreBut it happens, usually or not so much. Theres simply no device that wont ever suffer from lagg, its just not possible for multiple limitators. Be it because of a missed system call, memory allocation failure or process shutdown, it will just pound onto the device and its user. Im not saying the phones are hellish laggy, im just saying that the user will from time to time see a skipped frame or sudden freezing, but then it would come back up, even if the app crashed or not. Comparing an S7 Edge or a V20 to even a Nexus 5X or a OnePlus X, in daily operations, the light skins lagg less than the flagships, its just a reality everyone has grown accustomed to and the phone somewhat alleviates these issues with its software functions and whatnot, but not for every user. When using the S7 Edge, the phone once froze for me and the device wouldnt turn on afterwards. Initially i tought it would be the battery, but it coulnd be since it was over 80% and also overheating issues, but the phone was only warm to the touch. Turned out to be an application that crashed and made the phone completely locked up. Required a force reboot to function later on and the application was still up and running, after the reset. I hadnt experienced such a severe issue before on the Nexus 5X for example.

AnonD-312515, 24 Nov 2016LOL gotta love hater logic, or lack thereof. More logic than youll be able to intellectly deny, because youve got no proof nor understand the reasons for these problems, hence you found it more "human" to create such a trollish or gnomish (maybe your both) comment such as yours. It laggs, wether you like it or not. Doesnt take me or anyone else to say it for that matter. Now if your choosing to ignore it, you might want to rethink what your doing around here. Anyone knows where the block button is? Would be helpful in this forum honestly, it has more dimwits than AA and Android Central forums/comment section combined.

Big Daddy, 24 Nov 2016No problems here bruh, s7 edge user.. What are you smokin xD.Im smoking the real world usage of a phone that magnificently has more blind followers than Apple does. Instead of relentlessly and blindfoldedly defend the company, how about learning a thing or two for once about Touchwiz, yes? Anyone who has the minimum experience with Samsung and interest in understanding how the android phone world goes, can search for any Youtube or in-website review for an S7/S7 Edge review, and see the little "Touchwiz Lagg" issue. Now if you excuse, i dont want to waste more time with worthless repliers.

Its up to you to know wether or not your device suffers from decelaration or freezing on any given animation depending on the application runtimes and system stress overhaul, but its impossible to deny that the "Touchwiz lagg" still exists and morethanlikely will exist until they ditch it out entirely for Tizen or Pure android design. Regardless, Pocketnow, AndroidAuthority, AndroidCentral, etc. You dont need to go far to understand that theres always an asterik towards the explanation on why that lagg happens. Its not the lack of the phones potential, its the software overwhelming weight. Whatever you say man, take it it or disprove it to yourself.
