Great now we have badware spyware microsoft on your phone which will interrogate Bing search motor.
What a lovely idea, no more xiaomi mi mix for me, first swiftkey got bought by microsoft and now that, what a mess.

Anything that MS touches tu... moreCortana is currently the best artificial assistant on the market. It's also the least intrusive one - unlike Google's one.
It was Nokia's fault for accepting to run an early-stage-development OS on their devices, and that lead to their downfall. However, there's an upside to this, too. Just look at Windows 10 phones now and how far they've got. Google already started copying its features, and Apple started doing that as well. Not to mention that Windows's live tiles make for the most advanced UI in the smartphone market.
Windows just surpassed Android in terms of quality, smart and actually useful features, security, performance, stability, resources management, battery management, UI, and VR. (mixed reality-VR)
So glad I've quit using Android! I was oscillating between iOS and Windows, and I couldn't be any happier with Windows. (after using Android for the past 5 years)

Don't want to be spied? don't use internet, smartphones, computers, or anything that related to todays technology. simple. But by doing that, we would go against technology stream. Like it or not, we must accept it, sadly. Unless, they stop working with US agencies, which won't happen anytime soon.

The difference is cortana,Siri and google assistant comes as default for the devices and users don't even know what personal data of yours does those apps use. But considering the other apps in the market, They all take permissions to use your personal information. Cam and Microphone for sure.Why do some random android or apple app need to use your cam and microphone in the first place? How secure is your mobile banking even considering the phishing attacks that is happening a lot now a days? Fingerprint scanners and retinal eye scanners and what not? You are being watched ! These information all go into some big databases. You can browse about the 3 or 4 windows update that starts from OS7 onwards which are nothing but spyware. They all collect information and the process is synchronous. I personally deleted them. There might be a lot of other backdoor processes to collect your information from your devices. I log into skype to video chat with my family once in a week. For the past 7 months, I have observed every time I log in to skype in my PC, it holds for some time to get it updated. What in the world is that every week update is about? Take care !

I've basically given up my tin hat, everyone and everything is storing a data base on you. Facebook is the worst. At least Google you get a ton of free services.
