Anonymous, 03 Jan 2011let me guess, You are another "All I want is Android&q... moreYour comment that all Linux-based OSs are equivalent displays a very simplistic (and wrong) attitude. Mac OSX is UNIX based and I don't see any reasonable people equating OSX with Android.
Modify the shell, API, etc and you can easily hide the OS from even programmers; certainly from end users.

128GB cards are a reality. They were even unveiled the other day! So it makes these specs seem even more realistic.

maemo was supposed to be big lol. Will be interested to see if Meego attracts the support that Android has and is doing - Android is becoming a nice, stable and maturing platform.
As for the Thunderbolt, shame the HD didnt have a front facing video call camera. Nokia, to their credit, have been doing this superbly for years.
Will I buy it over my Desire HD? Doubt it. My HD does everything and more, very well.

It's like almost a year since HTC Desire was announced and not a single proper device since that... HTC is simply ruining their business by making those gigantic shovels.

llobak, 04 Jan 2011MEEGO is linux and android is programmed in linux you say??... moreGo research further. You'll see that Meego is the complete Linux experience with all working kernels and tools unlike Android which only has certain linux working tools. Meego is more powerful than Android. Deal with it. Some people like other OS'es than Android. I like Android but I realize that Meego is more powerful. Meamo is part linux like Android but Meego is Maemo plus Intel's Moblin Joined with the full Linux experience.

Lol. Also, why is it that when the first Android OS was released, it was embraced but now that it has loyal followers that don't realize that they keep getting screwed everytime a new Version is released, AMY other OS that tries to come out immediately is considered as suck? Without the Android users even knowing anything about it? Some Android Fanboys are quickly coming up fast on the Iphone fanboys as the most idiotic, one track minded, illogical users of smartphones.

wow, so you're going to put an already well established Android 2.3 against an early the first version of Meego? And you honestly think thats a fair comparison? Might as well put Honeycomb against Bada 1.0 beta and see who's the winner. We should compare once Meego is established then we will see which is better but that may be too logical for some people.
