New renders show the Huawei P10 without a physical Home button

25 November 2016
These make a lot more sense, since the phone has a fingerprint scanner on its back.

Oh I think nowadays phones go out of day In a year. New version of Android comes every year for you to update. Some flagship phones are always updatable like nexus phones. They always have updates. It makes it not go out of date. Only the nexus and the flagship phones they bring their updates for us. These days they even delay the updates, they are always concerned of doing something new that someone hasn't done before. Other phones they do not bother to bring updates for us and it is annoying.

Phone companies keep releasing new models but they all look the same .its hard to differentiate between all the new models hardly any difference in look or performance and the battery life is pretty much average on all of them as is the camera quality nine even come close to a dslr camera qualm not even the apple or Samsung S7 . Huawei phones have become too expensive to even bother considering ,they use to be affordable ,no more . .To be charging what Apple and Samsung charge is absurd . Affordability in the top range is the key along with a benchmark innovative phone and longest battery life .to pay one thousand or AUS 1500.00 for something that will be out of date within six months is a waste of money.

If they got rid of the HUAWEI logo on the front, it'd look 1000x better. I'm fine with rear logos ... but front look hideous. That's the one thing that Apple and Nexus phones always got right.

in the mobile industry, design is DEAD. Definitely.

The best iteration of my sentence is the M9 Porsche Design. A big joke.

This phone looks like bezel-less phone wow! I love bezel-less phones like what I am seeing very much uuuuhhhh! But please I beg you, do amoled screen with qhd display for us, please we beg you. The battery should be 4000 mAh like the Mate 9 pro. Anyway I am waiting for my Mate 9 pro. Is the phone I really really want to use as my main phone. Bring it here.

I like what I am seeing here. Only the dual front facing camera that I can't find. Please make this special dual front facing camera edition for us. The metal back is more durable although the glass finish like the honor 8 is phenomenon. Well you can do both the glass and the metal backs. Huawei you always and always step up your game and that is why I like Huawei branch. Keep on until you achieve your aim of becoming number one. We are waiting for the P10 that will kill all flagship phones, haha, I trust you.

For me fingerprint on the back is definitely dealbraker. If Huawei placed in front or side, like Sony, I'll buy it. I do not care about performance of Kirin CPU cause do not playing heavy games. The UI is good for me and will be nice to get P10, but front or side fingerprint is obligatory for me.

They can manage to remove to physical buttons, yet they can only produce large phones.
I miss the days when smartphones were used to be mobile.

Beautiful, i have the Huawei P9 and have never had a problem with it, dropped it too many times and the screen has never cracked, when i buy the P10 i will make sure never to drop it and maybe get a case for it, a glass back would be awesome, i don't care where the fingerprint scanner will be located though.

5.2" is still handy to hold, a round fingerprint sensor at the back still prefered, a series 9000 aluminum metal frame, capacitive touchkeys at front without awkward home button at the front, gorilla glass display protection, stereo speakers, Lieca Engineered camera, and 128gb ROM with expandable memory.

i think the physical home button on the previous renders was capacitive touch. you're right in saying these images look closer alligned to huawei's design, I believe that to be the case too.
based on their affinity with Apple design, the back may be anodized aluminum (holding out for ceramic, though).
