daaam, 04 Jan 2011Are you crazy or what?? samsung sold its 10 million crap in... moreYou are full of BS. First of all Nokia did not "surpass" 4 million N8's, you can't read even the TITLE of an article, and at least MORE THAN 10 million people think the SGS is the best phone in the world, that's why they bought it. If LESS than 4 four million think that a phone with the slowest processor, the lowest screen resolution, the oldest OS, and the worst U.I. in the market is the best phone in the world (since they bought one), it's clear that those people are with a very low IQ(you can see it also reading their comments).

Karthik Duraisamy, 04 Jan 2011Galaxy S is now running short of Supply in India. Retailers... morethere is no issue with email app for galaxy s , i am using this phone since 4 months and received 2 updates(2.1 update 1 and 2.2 so far)but there is nothing i experienced about email app, this is truly the best phone in android OS in India .but sadly samsungs firmware update department is living in stone age they released froyo when gingerbread was on the verge and still no comment on when 2.3 will be available for galaxy s , i even herd that the 4 mill mark reaching united states fellas haven't got froyo yet. this is something Samsung and Google learn from apple, i am not a fan boy of "iProducts" but at least apple give frequent update without interruption of carrier

7 months ago, samsung released a phone that shocked the world with leading edge tech.4in Super AMOLED 480 x 800 ,1ghz hummingbird cpu/gpu with power in spades, and i mean spades, wifi b/g/n,bluetooth 3,720p@30fps vid record,i could go on and on.But it was (SAMSUNG) the only one to realy stick up iphone 4.I mean i play quake 3 arena on this thing at 56fps.Remember back in the day when your comp was a pentium4 1.4ghz and gpu the size of a brick?
4 months ago nokia released the N8 with its outdated symbined OS (Boring), 3.5in 360 x 640 AMOLED (Boring),720p@25fps vid record (Yup Boring) AND THE REAL KICKER I SAVED TILL LAST, THAY STICK AN ARM 11 680 MHz processor in the damn thing WTF. Load ya apps in this thing and your going ta lag just like every other nokia in the past with the same old cpu/os not being able to cope whatsoever.Buying an N8 your downgradeing and going back 2 years, you nokia boys cant fool me.Your joking surely.
But hey,it has a nice camera F..KEN LOL....WEWT.

Ioannis, 04 Jan 2011I'm thinking of buying one next week.Any advise from people... moreOverall a good phone so far. Owned it for almost a month. I'm quite careful though on the apps I allow in my device. Don't want any of those apps doing things that will slow my phone down. There are some kinks but no dealbreakers. Quite zippy most of the time. Battery lasts 2 days if I don't play games. Samsung seems to be supporting the phone as I upgraded to Froyo immediately when I got it and now there is another update. Didn't update yet though, will do it maybe in the next few weeks. I'd say if you want trouble/problem free operation/apps/polish, get iphone. If you want customization/shortcuts/features get galaxy s.

Anonymous, 04 Jan 2011I'll never buy a samsung again.
I have a samsung vibrant.
... moreanything software related problem that the user experienced on the galaxy s can be solved in xda. bugs/updates/gps fix/lags and even the poor battery consumption problem has been solved.
however some user are not smart enough to understand that and start blaming the product/brand itself.
lol noob user.

Ioannis, 04 Jan 2011I'm thinking of buying one next week.Any advise from people... moreIf you're from the US you're better off buying the Nexus S. Its basically a Galaxy S with flash, and gingerbread. Galaxy S is still stuck on 2.1 which is pretty lame as froyo 2.2 offers alot of good improvements. Samsung is slow to release updates because they for some reason can't finish their UI. HTC has no problems releasing updates with their sense, i dont' see why Samsung can't.

akira, 04 Jan 2011Yes, I agreed with you. This is because Samsung Galaxy S al... moreObviously you nokia fanboys fail at math again. 10 million units/ 7 months = 1.428 Million units per month. Nokia N8 = 4 million units/3 months - 1.333 Million units per month. Unless some how numerically 4 is less than 3 how is it any indicator of N8 being better? LOL. Geeze you fanboys and your crazy logics just to make yourself feel special.

Galaxy S is now running short of Supply in India. Retailers say the phone has some serious issues in the email configuration (probably due to mismatch of 1 GHz hardware and Android OS), hence Samsung has put the production on hold until they came back with updates. They quote similar instance has happened for Samsung Wave high end phones running on 1 GHz processor with Bada OS. Is this the right issue?
