Lenovo launches K6 Power in India

Dude!! It's 2022 almost 5 and half years old since it's launch in India. Holding this phone perfectly in my hand with no big issues. Although feels somewhat slow now but I'm going to keep till it dies.

It sounds same like my older two smartphones. No real huge bump in quality. May be with a fancy headphone things could be different. But if you can afford a fancy headphone, why bother purchasing a basic-medium smartphone. Helios P10 in K5 Note is a big let down compared to Sd652 in Redmi note 3. But stock android-ish Vibe Ui is good in usage but not as feature rich like MiUi.

Last decent lenovo k series phone was k3 note. Great specs for it's time, good speakers with some actual bass, nice screen. What I liked the most was 3rd party support, which it still has. You can get CM14.1 for it. Also, one thing I missed was how easy it was to install roms and recovery on this device. Only after I switched to redmi note 3 I noticed how great that device was. Battery was a letdown and that could've easily been fixed. So many k series phones now are made just to milk every coin from k3 note success. Because there are so many k series phones being released there won't be as much 3rd party support.

Lenovo had become highly unreliable brand in India of late..it is funny today at the k6 launch their India head showing they are no1 in web selling etc..IT city Bangalore and surrounding districts has only 1 Lenovo service center situated in Koramangala, Bangalore...days r not far people throw their Lenovo phones for it's software bugs..I was a huge fan and had almost 4 devices ..currently with p1 which gone craazy post marshmallow update..Finger print scanner showing in the back :( , hotspot indicators still showing even post switched off and more issues on software...terrible..No wonder people are going with Gionee and VIVO etc and Mi claiming huge sales....Lenovo has to relook at their software updates carefully and open more service centers to gain confidence back...enough of selling same phone with improved battery and buggy software..

There is not much differences between Redmi 3s prime and K6 power except Full HD (Better wait for comparison) It's Like Ur comparing Galaxy J7 2016 with On8........ Redmi 3s Prime have better battery results because of 720p........ Only if u want better brand then u can consider Lenovo :) But u will miss IR Blaster :)

Redmi 3s prime is better option then Lenovo k6 and Redmi 3s prime is available for 8999rs

Stupid hybrid sims everywhere. Hard to find a proper dual sim with SD card these days. GSMarena should create a poll for it and share its results with manufacturers. I am sure most people want a proper dual sim with SD card. I don't know whose idea was it in the first place.

Why do i see many budget companies going for the same colour and design? Am i the only one who prefers good build quality and design first. Only HTC SONY and Apple have manage to distinguish their design, rest all brands are like having hybrid golden and silver children.
Regarding budget phones Its like asking ... will you buy a phone which will last around 30 months or will you spend 50℅ more and get a better looking good quality phone which will last around 45 to 50 months?

Wow. Now people have a choice if they don't get redmi 3s prime in flash sales. Lenovo want to use moto branding for higher end devices and lenovo branding for mid range.
