Samsung knows they have got to make the Galaxy S8 phones really outstanding,to show to the critics than they are the Best phone produces after the Note 7 saga, looks like 2017 is going to be "Edge" screen bonanza, with all the other phone makers releasing Edge screen phones, plus Bezeless screen phones

AnonD-491313, 29 Nov 2016Its just a front facing camera with autofocus.... Get it... moreWe have Vivo X9 for that selfie game. Too much focus on selfie. Narcissistic behaviour is getting too serious lately. When are Samsung gonna focus on quality and performance?

Exept that they can get pretty buggy if theyr used with random applications and whatnot, but i assume such issues are worked out before theyr given to such critical applicants, like police officers, firemen, etc.

Although IMHO it's colour scheme is more fitting for the Active variant :-)
And it's price seems reasonable too, a good 27000 USD almost as much as the new phone itself :-)

Anonymous, 29 Nov 2016Windows 10 is rubbish and dead. Sorry broLol? Windows 10 Mobile is definetly not a good choice for consumers, but its stable and safer to maintain by companies who want to offer voicecalls and multimedia access on a large scale to theyr employees for literally free. Remenber a news that claimed that almost everyone on the NYPD workforce would be using windows phones until the end of this year? Yeah, theyr really important for light users or encrypted wannaget users.

In the same time they can put a battery 50% bigger, but they want an ultra ultra slim device who caches the eye and the pocket.

Anonymous, 29 Nov 2016And why the hell would we need THAT? Are you all so self... moreWhat a royal pain in the arse that you are... Problem with your logic is, were living a world where flipping the device towards the back camera where you cant see what the heck your doing doesnt work for anyone and the fact that front facing cameras have become so freaking useful for mobile VoIP calls and other enterprise workers and even my grandma on a large campus or exteriors of a household (where you cant have a Cisco stationary phone with the linecord extended by 30 meters or +), that not improving on a technology that certainly helps the user to achieve a better prespective of its own self and friends/family/colleagues around him, is the plain definition of a retrograde in progress, because LTE is based on the ability of high quality voicecalls with video live (Yes, that thing you see in sci-fi movies or future prespectives of our real world). What you want everyone wants already, in every smartphone! Mega corporations arent willing to improve on such a grandious scale, because the profit loss would be inconceivable for them, who waste hundreds of millions on research, sketching, implementations, factories and laboratories, global shipping, providing, manufacturing and consumer assistance pretty much everywhere. Jeez, catch up with the times pinhead.

We don't need gazilion megapixels AF selfie cams. It just need to be good enough for Skype or other videoconferencing apps.

Just get that back-camera right and use a goddamn mirror like they used to do in the past!
                                    Like this: http://www.tecnozoom.it/immagini/7/133097/sony-ericsson-k750i-1n.jpg
--> for the clueless dimwits: The mirror that I'm referring to is that little shiny circle under the lens.

Or here a close-up of the mirror on the K700i (that square silver thing under the LED)
                                    https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/1/11/SE_K700i_camera_lens_close-up.JPG

It was simple and effective and just as good using the better AF-camera at the back without any additional crap.

I'd rather have more battery juice, IR-blaster, user-replaceable batteries, SD-card-slots and better reception than an AF-front camera (probably with stupid LED-flash as well instead of just making the screen all-white before taking a shot).

It's seems that these days it's just tech for the tech instead of actually improving the product, morrons!
