All devices thag have lithium ion batteries do have the tendency to blow up. Even that one iphone 7 plus which blew up in transit to its owner. There will always be a few defective units in a batch that can go wrong at some point.

Worth $200 or less, cheap easily cracks plastic back that over heats burns and blow up. Safety Hazard device!!! Don't risk it eitherway.
