on the why after the ban no Note 7 exploded, probably because no one will expose themselves as having the note even after the recall (easily called dumb) or the only ones still using them are the ones that honnestly found no problem (over heating or whatsoever) and are using the device despite the lack of upgrades and such...
i say let's wait till samsung says what went wrong and see if it's really plausible to believe it ^_^

If Samsung is 'steady why they can make this kind of phone?
If Samsung is steady why they can not find out the blow up reason?
If Samsung is steady why they want resell the Note 7 to the poorer people?
If Samsung is steady why don't bring the top notch quality products to his customers?

Galaxy Edge has much smaller body than Note7, and bigger battery.
      BTW:
More interesting is, WHY should we wait Samsung to explain the ''problem'', but not the US labs, and many labs all over the World......that found no problem yet?
And how could they explain that after the ban, no one Note7 exploded? LOL

Anonymous, 30 Nov 2016They tried blaming the battery manufacturer... But sadly it... moreNo!Samsung SDI makes the batteries for their phones, the first line of phones had Samsung batteries inside of them! They blamed themselves but again the second line of phones that were supposed to be fixed and used Chinese batteries still exploded!
The cause is still unknown but there are many speculations, one of them is that the problem is cause of the snapdragon CPU,the quickcharge 3 feature causes the battery to explode! The majority of the phones that exploded were the American snapdragon version inside and outside of the US!
They say that the quickcharge 3 feature wasn't contemptible with the phone(maybe the Type-C port) and caused a problem to the battery that made it slowly slowly to explode!
The other rumor says that Samsung tried to pack a 3500 mAh battery in a very cramped space!Anyway it may be another reason that caused this problem but we will find out soon!
*I am a big Samsung fun and I will still buy Samsung products but what I said above is my honest opinion and has nothing to do with the fact that I am a Samsung fun!

The battery cells were pinching together because of the extremely tight space. Unlike the S7edge, the space for the Note 7 battery was super tight because they had to make space for the S-pen

Myksy, 30 Nov 2016Its samsungs fault why i downgraded to iphone se or ios. (B... moreLol, your post seems legit. Even though there are literally millions of options in android and many of them better than samsung, you "got" an iPhone because of samsung's fault? You absolutely get the freedom to bash apple or any brands, but please use logic, dont pretend to own a product as an excuse to use childish fanboy opinions against it.

Thrill Killer: Samsung would say that there's an engineering issue with the other hardware components of the Note 7. Maybe it's the wireless charging that takes too much voltage for the battery to handle, or maybe the Adaptive Fast Charging takes too much voltage for the battery to handle. It can't be the battery because Apple also have SDI and ATL as their battery providers. It's probably from the electric cable lines within the battery to the motherboard.

Well, whatever Samsung says, haters are going to attack again and again, and the Note 7 jokes will forever be shouted

For example use ";" to group send msgs. To delete all, click select then select all, then delete. No freedom at all my ass. Like android devices have built in file managers. Just download a freeware.

Its samsungs fault why i downgraded to iphone se or ios. (But i like the iphone se compact but powerful feature)I dont like the ios. I dont have any freedom at all! No file manager no details on pictures no delete all option for contacts no usb otg no camera megapixel options no group sending msgs no everything! Have to download 3rd party apps! Its like i went back from stone age! I miss my note 7! Google apps is the future!

Although at the moment this phone is still quite usable it wouldn't be even like this anymore if carriers from U.S.A, Europe and all over the world would disable access to their network for all released Note7 units. Well, I heard of possibility of changing your IMEI but is it really worth using a phone which causes so much trouble?

That's cute. And those were flagship updates not new device release.

And what's the excuse when apple and many other companies have a few explode every year?
Or apple telling you the way to get your phone fixed for their design flaw after they silently fixed the issue in their line up is that you pay half off.
You know because they claim it's only if someone drops it. It's not really their fault.
But Samsung recalls all theirs world wide that anyone off the streets can literally fine one and turn it in if they found the right place. For reimbursement.
And then they offer gifts and credits.
When for ask they new it could've been something they could have fixed. But they discounted it because of the risks since they couldn't find the cause quick enough.
