I believe this phones are powerful phones but why are all flagship phones becoming too expensive. They are getting a $1000 mark of price. Very soon flagship phones will belong to only a few class of people.

To be frank, smartphone is not the core business for ASUS.
It is does not matter if they are not selling well.
This is the reason Asus does not even want to bother to release the product fast enough.
Be caution, there might be very update for Asus smartphone.

I was an Asus fan, and I did own a Zenfone Selfie. Now, I think they have become too greedy. Pricing their phones too highly, average income people like me will go somewhere else. We have so many other options to choose from.

2799 in China and adding import it can be around 31k here. So where did you hear same rate theory from? Mi 5 was 1999 in China launched at 24k here

They made their name last year by selling their flagship Zenfone 2 for under $300. But their support is down right terrible. My Zenfone is still with Lollipop,5.0.0 version at that with the memory bleed and all. They kept saying we get 5.1 but never got it. Recently released Marshmallow but even that we had to manually download from their site and not an OTA. Even then the fact remains that theyvleft their flagship phone with a critically bugged OS for more than a year...
At the price they r selling these now u can get phones like S7, V20, iP6s, XP XZ etc... People wld be mad to look these phones over them.
