4.2" screen to big Max screen size for a PHONE should be 4", more than 4" should be for small tablets only. & such a good looking phone & back lite camera sensor, just a pity about the screen size :o(

Damn...I am stunned in love! The specs are pukka and the phone is just too damn sexy. Thank god for some individualism as this has to be the sexiest, most attractive phone in the world and beautifully spec'd to boot!
Please SE, do not make me wait for this, it would be too much torture!!

it has a spectaciular new screen, superior imaging and software - gingerbread out of the box.
AND -thank goodness - it has hardware buttons!
1 ghz is just fine - check out the benchmarks!
if it works fine and smooth - who the hell needs more gigahertz and cores?
BUT what makes this phone (as well as SE) awesome and special is gorgeous design and character.
samsung and lg are style-less, generic looking brands, with plastiki copycat DULL BORING design that is been draggin over forever..no imagination whatsoever!

Had X10 and got shot, I get bored easily! Thank god I only got the Nexus S as a christmas pressy as the SE Arc falls into the MUST HAVE category....Great design and damn sexy too!
To those of you quibbling about this and that, no manufacturer will ever give you the whole thing in one package otherwise how will they sell you shed loads of their next product....doh!!
The earlier SE can get this to market the better! WoooooooW

it is sexy, amd it has gingerbread, unlike moto, samsng amd lg. oh and did they use the same designer? cause optimus black, atrix and infuse look the same.

Anonymous, 05 Jan 2011why didn't sony incorporate touch screen for the three button????IMO hardware buttons > touch buttons , when you use them alot.
Esp when its at the ridge of the phone, where its often used as leverage. Touch buttons are easy for accidental press, and also, requires extra attention from the eyes. Similar situation why hardware keyboards requires less eye attention than touchscreen keyboards.

Is the 1Ghz Processor confirmed? Still the phone looks beautiful, updated version of android and great specs overall. Hope sony gets this one right, it must be released in March at last... if they release it quickly i'll be buying this :)

creazy in love with this phone and SE . ANDROID 3.0 cause this phone have 1GB RAM + 2GB ROM .

The Arc will def be up there in the price range - new technology in terms of the screen ( even though they have been using it in their tele's for a while now)

Ok so i have always liked sony's - glad they have brought something new out! hope it performs just as well as it looks! the only thing i dont like is the location of the charging/3.5 mil ports!
Looking to get a new phone - but by the time this things hits the Aussie market there will def be something else that has caught my attention!
