Anonymous, 01 Dec 2016Support for LPDDR3 800MHz RAM?? You are joking, my iPhone 5... moreThey make it like that because the cpu will be able to reduce power consumption.

Take SD 820 for example, they use four kryo cores and those four is powerful. This helps load app faster but it uses a lot of power. So if you want to do simple task like play music and open picture it will use a lot of power and its a waste for your battery.

For Helio X20 family case, Tri cluster thingy will divide heavy, medium and moderate task. If you want to open heavy app like benchmark or video editing, it will leave it to the A72. But if you want to simple task it leave to the À53 which is efficient and use a small amount of power.

In other word, deca-core is not all about power, its also about efficiency

Well yes 821 is better, of course!!! obviously! Even if Cortex A72 are a little better than Kryo

X30 vs 835 would be a more interessant comparison : both 10nm, UFS 2.1...maybe we will see some surprise

Beware of confusion with Cortex A9...

You know, whole 2 cores CPU on Apple A9 is bigger than whole Multi-cores CPU.
That's a conception choice...Apple's one is very good, but saying 2 are better than 10, even if it's true (and it is), doesn't mean anything

Anonymous, 01 Dec 2016Antutu is just synthetic benchmarks real world performance ... moredone that. been there. real world preformance is certainly lower than the synthetic tests. but we can't exactly measure real world preformance.(except time) hence we use the Synth tests as reference.

"power consumption enhancements". So it enhances the consumption of power? I don't think gsmarena thinks "enhancement" means what they think it means.

I used to be a fan of meditek but sad truth is all of chipset they produce don't stand a chance against adreno GPU.

1 more thing they never release kernel source so you are basically depended on OEM for updates which most of OEM doesn't provide.
