App not found on the Gear apps store when using a non Samsung phone... One more incompatibility of the S3 Frontier watch that makes me a little bit more angry against Samsung's detestable protectionism policy...

Ok, I've been trying to figure this out since I bought the "frontier". The only HERE we go app I find is one that has something to do with Europe. is that the right one?

I have tried on my Gear S3 Frontier (Bluetooth version) but it still required Location service (enabled) on my phone as well as Bluetooth connectivity otherwise it won't work. Please explain what is the benefit of standalone GPS in the watch.

Anonymous, 01 Dec 2016great app, but battery killer for the smartwatch It is battery killer, but not so much. As I read, 2 days even if you use this app moderately for short navigations

Have you check it before posting this? Just tried it on my Gear S3 Frontier (without LTE) and if you don't link the Gear to a phone it says to do so, so it's not independent

Anonymous, 01 Dec 2016great app, but battery killer for the smartwatch It is, but, since the app is independent it will most probably targeted for short location navigator. Let say im a tourist and im looking for xxxxx road, I just need to look up on my watch instead of my phone for short navigation.
