New Nokia will run Android os, made in China or Vietnam by Foxonn, and there are so many OEM as tough competitor.
If New Nokia run on Symbian, what app available?. Can New Nokia made in Finland like Old Nokia? Maybe not, due to reasonable price and availability of skill worker.
So, there you go new Nokia. Only the name still the same. Just wait what will happen.

Let's hope this may bring Nokia from dead.. But am little bit shocked by the leadership of that HMD, starting from President, CEO and CPO probably and Board Members too, both are from companies that failed once. We all know HTC sales dropped like AF so Florian Seiche has nothing to be proud of, Microsoft Mobile Devices sales too are not popular, same to Windows Mobile popularity. So the leaders has to work so hard to bring back the once pronounced dead Nokia.

I'd be happy to buy a device that says Nokia on the back, but I won't pay any sort of premium for it, not when I could buy another excellent Xiaomi for under $150.
I don't think Nokia have lost fans even with the Windows debacle, but the game has changed so much in the last few years that it has to beat the Chinese before it can take on Samsung.

Omg. This is so exciting.
The new Nokias will be basically be made by ex-employees from HTC and Sony.
A there is no better combination than that, imo.
Just imagine HTC's audio combined with Sony's audio and Nokia/Lumias's cameras.

Nokia Technologies will be designing and licencing the "intellectual property" ( Innovation camera tech , graphene based sensors etc ) to Hmd ...
So designed by Nokia , Manufactured by foxconn and sold and marketed by HMD
HMD is basically old nokia veterans .. so only manufacturing will be handled by foxconn
not much different from apple...

They owned whole Sharp corporation .... so products will not be bad phones. HDM is owned by Foxconn, so they will produced phones for them self.

this HMD company got HTC co creator, Nokia chief officer, ex nokia and ex microsoft alumni and Sony Erricson......
basically this HMD full of European people with the knowledge of feature phone era. i hope they can change the landscape like in 2000's era.
but to beat Chinese, u need to know how they gain momentum within 2 years and their strategies. if u can beat their price tag, u won't survive longer.

I dont know why I have a feeling these rejects are gonna destroy the Nokia name. What Nokia needs is new fresh blood not some veterans here to mint money and compete with Chinese OEMs.
