The Smartwatches are BS category invented and pushed by Wall Street. Only some gadget freaks could buy some- and of course the apple-logo freaks.
Nice, slim, elegant armband(not only fitness tracker) makes much more sense.
Though from the smartwatches, Gear is the best.

From this Result its clear that even trolls doesn't give a shitt about smartwatches or they gave too much shitt. It is appealing to few gadget enthusiasts who like to be too much involved in social networking and health aspects. Other than that for any normal user it does not have much value as it performs the same job of cellphone and fitness band which comes much cheaper and doesn't require charging every now and then. Smartwatches are for niche market.

Personally, the Samsung pay feature is the strongest mobile payment option available. It works much better on the watch then it does on the phone surprisingly enough, and of course works in many many more places than any competitor.

But for me, the Apple watch would be useless for my everyday life. As opposed to the frontier, where it makes so many things easier. Especially not having to even have my phone on me to get fill functionality from it.it's a beautiful thing

It's a cool looking watch , and I love the ui , and for is old farts with dodgy eyes the nice big easy to read clock face is awesome, everything else is gravy . .

Alien , 04 Dec 2016I'd rather have a binary watch or a classic one. Other th... moreFor convenience, health tracking and discretion.

I don't have to drag my phone out of my pocket every two minutes to see who texted me, who messaged me, what that email notification was about, 3rd party app notifications, etc. It gives me a great deal of information very quickly.

Maybe you're not concerned about health tracking, but many are. The S3 will track just about any fitness activity. You can very easily compare fitness routines and follow your progress. Tread mill, bike riding, running, yoga, whatever you're in to, it can track and measure it. The GPS, altimeter and barometer make it extremely accurate. The 4 gigs of space means I can take along a thousand song playlist without subjecting my phone to potential damage. It's not just "counting your steps"

Finally, I can access all that information with just a glance at my wrist. If I'm in a meeting, with a customer or out to dinner, I can discretely look at my watch to see if all the chirping my phone is doing is just an annoyance or a real emergency.

Oh, and they make the Frontier in a 4G connected version. So now you don't even need to have your phone with you to receive calls, messages, etc. As an extra added bonus, it looks like a real, big boy watch too!

I'd rather have a binary watch or a classic one.
Other than the cool display, why would I need a smartwatch when I have a smartphone? To tell me how many steps I took? Lol
And on top of that, it drains the phone's battery needing constant bluetooth connection.
Maybe in a few years when it can fully replace a smartphone I will buy one, but for now I'm saying no thanks.
And it's not like I can't afford one, I just don't like them.

AnonD-416078, 04 Dec 2016It has no camera, and that's a deal breaker for me. Typical strong opinions from someone who never used a smartwatch on day to day basis and gotten familiar with it. No clue at all.

Smartwatches need basic useful functions, and support for your local apps, like train, airline, bank, various stuff, and we all know only one smartwatch is supported by such companies: apple watch. I get everything on it, lasts one and a half day on travels, all my tickets are there, theres no competitor that has even 10% of the things i use it for.
