Anonymous, 02 Dec 2016This will improve them significantly in cpu perfomance Unlikely, Samsung is using an outdated kernel (Linux 3.10) on those devices while their flagship come with 3.18+. They are missing over 3 years of updates and improvements to the ARM platform in the kernel itself.

What makes you think that they would change this? Last time with Marshmallow they didn't even bother to integrate the newer Mali drivers.

Anonymous, 02 Dec 2016I'm on 5.1.1 still in UK I have marshmallow on my a3(2016) and my phone was locked to Vodafone UK before. Still suprised to see others not recieve 6.0.1 on the eu a3.

Most Samsung's look basically the same. A lot of models are very confusing and design over tired

But will the update finally enable the 64-bit ARM execution state? Afaik all A-series devices are stuck with a 32-bit version of Android despite having 64-bit SoCs.

This line of phones is very pricely so no surprise here. That means A 2017 series should ship with android 7 out of box

And j7 2015 with its far superior specs than A3(2016) would only by favoured with marshmallow... Unfair.
