02 December 2016
The weird problem makes the camera freeze up with pink vertical lines showing up in the photos.

Their services are not even great. I ought to be paid in order to use an Android phone/tablet/tv/whatever, and even so, I'm not sure I'd use one. Only Windows and iOS devices for me, and Microsoft's services.

That's the usual quality of Google products and services. Keep them as cheap and low quality as possible while still allowing full personal information data flowing out to bolster their bottom line.

Information is money and the only thing that keeps the lights on at Google. Smart people do not allow this shady business practice.

Maybe it had issues prior to the anniversary update, but not anymore. Anyway, it's a much more polished OS than Android. Almost at the same level as iOS.

Yea Lumia 950 and dead OS, almost dead Windows Phone/Mobile. You dont hear about problems because...WP/M have 0,5%. And dont lie..read even Windows forums, many people have many problems issues with the
microphone, strongly heating up and resetting phones, locking up, battery etc.
Companies should begin to race on
                        quality. Whether to Apple, Samsung,
Microsoft and Google all happen to
                        problems.

AnonD-454153, 04 Dec 2016at least doesn't freeze phone like iphone 7 For your info, android users can put shortcuts on our screen to certain settings (app, accessibility, display...) And theres an app in the play store (shortcut helper) which lets you even put your photos, files... on the homescreen.!(check it out).
I agree with you on the youtube app on android , thirdy-party youtube apps are FAR more better.
As for the issues you are taking about with android, they exist but thay are rare, if non-existant, these days. Maybe you got a defective oneplus 2, and maybe you can give android a try now cz everybody deserves a second chance(just be sure to buy a flgship or a premium mid-range, and i am not adsking you to switch)
I LOVE windows phone and i am a wp fan ( i have tried to emulate the wp ui on android, but it didn't work, and i am unlikely to get one cz thay are ultra-rare where i live), but what bugs me is that you made android look like trash, android has some bad sides and it has its good sides. So plz stop talking trash about android, and for the people saying its the best, many just compare it iphone and not to wp, or they have not even used a wp.
Anyway, i am sad at how microsoft managed windows phone this year, but many rumours say they'll be back next year, and microsoft themselves say they are preparing something that will be very different from the "smartphone" model (lets hope this time it works).

Well, it's Android, so what can you expect? You get what you pay for...

So glad I ditched it after 1 year of bugs, apps force closing, non-existant battery management, non-existant memory management, missing features, and the dated user interface with static icons and barely any usable info available on the home screen. (OnePlus 2)
Now everything JUST WORKS on my Lumia 950. Everything. Just. Works. I don't get why people say so many negative things about Windows... It's actually better than Android in so many ways. Almost all ways. (as long as you are not an app junkie that needs funny apps and fart simulators on their phones)
I just start laughing when I hear people saying "Android is the best" and then see their phones closing apps or needing a restart. Or lagging/stuttering. Or seeing them how they have to actually open an app to see what's going on with it (no live tiles). Or seeing how they have to dig through menus, submenus, subsubmenus, subsubsubsubsubmenus and so on, just to get to certain settings. Or how their phones fail to sync with MS Exchange, Yahoo, and other email services. Or how they can't even block Youtube ads, and the app can't run in the background and under the lock screen. Useless.

                                Android - never again

Anonymous, 03 Dec 2016Battery capacity is great, what are you talking about?3450mAh on a 2k or higher resolution display running a power hungry supetfast processor equates to mediocre battery life. A processor this fast/powerful with this smallish battery capacity will make this phone dead by 2pm for a user who's a heavy LTE user (social media/news consumption) and much less than that for game/YouTube/video/movie lovers. 4000 mAh battery should be the minimum for phones with top of the line, powerful /power hungry processors and 2k or higher resolution displays. Ideally, it should have a 4,500mAh to last a typical day for the heavy user outlined above. The Samsung A9 pro has 5000mAh, the Gionee M6 plus has 6020 mAh.The Zenfone 3 ultra and Mi max both have 4500+ mAh batteries, the Huawei Mate series 7/8/9 all have 4000 mAh.

                                        ====================
Had the same 'pink screen camera freezing' problem on my previous Lenovo phone once... And from experience, I can tell it is NOT A SOFTWARE ISSUE. It's a hardware issue, possibly from faulty components. Unfortunately, the replacement units are likely using the same faulty components... (sounds like the Note 7 fiasco all over again)... Good luck Google! I never liked the Pixel phones anyway... no dual sim, small/poor battery capacity, no SD card support, no infrared blaster, no MHL/Slimport or TV-out support, no larger screen [6"+] options, WAAAAAAY OVERPRICED just because it is 'made by GOOGLE' (Since when did the 'Google brand' equate with 'prestige' like 'Apple'?) Oh well... I'm better served with a Oneplus, Zenfone, or Xiaomi for half the price of the pixel.
