And Android is a Linux based OS for Phones, Kernel systems being the fastest and most secure. Symbian on the other hand are made up and have so many issues to deal with. Case solved

Marc, I had a Nokia N8 and returned it after 3 days. What a sucky and slow phone. GUI is utterly useless. Had it had MeeGo it would have most likely been a brilliant phone but symbian just needs to die.

dual cpu is not the same as dual core. dual cpu is 2 cpu's that are working togheter while dual core is 1 cpu with 2 cores, wich works better.

him, 07 Jan 2011n95 and e90 too has dual cpuproblem is nokia has the crappiest app store ever and symbian quite frankly is slow and suck no matter the cpu or ram i've owned a 5800 for more than a year and i hate it except for the music player it suck. My web browser crashes every time i open to view web sites even on opera.

however in todays world the hardware does not define a superphone anymore
software updates like android 2.2 have shown to give phones a double in performance boost despite processor speed or high specs
also an extremely strong developer base that can pump out high quality app after app can make any phone extremely useful. unlike nokia.
nokia runs on an operating system that makes it painfully tedious to use in comparison while no major softaware update has had an effect on performance like ios has or android os.
symbian to nokia is like putting a dummy in a ferrari... nice hardware but useless operator (operating system)
if nokia one day adopts android then they will absolutely and immediately become very dominant in the the mobile space. and even though they do sell the most phones in the world, what you can ask yourself is what kind of phones and where? most likely subpar phones and to a larger market unlike any other manufacturer. also they numbers are slowly but sure declining with samsung publicly announcing its plans to overtake nokia within 2 years.
n9 will not be nokias savior. the end of symbian will

What is the difference between dual cpu and dual core cpu? Is it like that dual cpu=2 cpu's inside the phone and dual core=2 cores inside 1 cpu. But they are basically the same thing right? The way old Nokia N82 has a dual cpu and you guys always complain that Nokia is far behind in terms of tecnology.

some people can't realize what you can do on a "dual-core" CAN BE DONE also on the lesser N8's processor and its 256MB RAM + the best camera with Xenon has been built ever WITHOUT buying a smartphone every 2-3~ months
