AnonD-618116, 07 Dec 2016Due when? Any sources?I had seen a thread on miui forum which were asking users for suggestions for the next mi band over a month back. Judging from Xiaomi's speed in releasing products, it should be out in a couple of months.

15 day?! Seriously? My Mi band can last more than a month & thats with daily alarm & sleep tracking!

My Mi Band has the same features and last 30 days in between charges. So your article is wrong.

why would you need 4 pins for charging ???

You have to consider battery life instead of wireless charging...you dont charge band every day... and xiaomi has more experience than meizu in fitness bands business...and features better app than unknown meizu app

AnonD-614957, 06 Dec 2016Definitely xiomi will lose in this competition. I have Mi band 2 for about 3 months now. And it's fantastis ! 40℅ battery remaining after over 20 days. Not to mention new Mi fit application that add continous HR monitor for workout. Really great device I could say

Anonymous, 07 Dec 2016I had the Cubot v2 on order since September, it was suppose... moreOf course Fitbit is way superior software-wise and the platform that it offers where you can compete against your friends, earn badges and so on.

The only problem with Fitbit is the major design flaw which causes the rubber casing to start peeling off only after few months of normal usage. Sure, the support will replace your product but then its just an endless replacement cycle for the user because they have not any changes to their lacklustre design from years now.

Im still using my broken Charge HR just because of that and have not gone for another v2 HR.

ethereal, 06 Dec 2016Poor fitbit! The competition is fierce. Jawbone already ... moreI had the Cubot v2 on order since September, it was supposed to ship in October, just cancelled it, since now Gearbest says end of December.... (2018, maybe...?) The Cubot Android app crashes on launch since the last update (a month ago).

Yep, I got a Fitbit Charge 2 HR+. Good product, great software, good support.

Good luck with these Chinese brands. You get what you pay for.

Anonymous, 06 Dec 2016It isn't wireless if it attaches to a cable......Exactly! I will only consider lightning strike wireless charging.

Anonymous, 06 Dec 2016It isn't wireless if it attaches to a cable......It's considered wireless because it just sits on the charge base. You don't plug anything in on a daily basis. You plug in the base once and that's it. "Wireless" doesn't mean that it will magically get it's electricity from the air...

                            Poor fitbit!

The competition is fierce. Jawbone already struggling.

Yeah I'm sure Xiaomi should be wary, after all it's not like their marketshare is way bigger than that of Meizu even in their homeland, neither that Meizu are the biggest pos brand I've ever got to use, definitely be wary Xiaomi.
