it's weird that they use an older version of the linux kernel, usually found in froyo: 2.6.32. In gingerbread it should be 2.6.35...

Looking at the Arc gets my hopes up. At least now they seem to be in the Android dev loop in contrast to how it went with the X10. Remains to be seen, however, whether SE will actually manage to get this thing to market by early Q2. The Satio and the X10 were both announced WAY ahead of their actual launch, and by the time they made it to market, they had already been out done by other manufacturers.

I read an interesting article on the security architecture of Android vs Apple with Apple the clear winner. Anyone know what Google are doing with Android's security?

THE SONYERICSSON PYRAMIDS OF WASTE Hahaha this is surprise comming from Sonyericsson. They did not fully updated their X10 androids increasing their performance and they are building a new one. Is this " PLANNED OBSELECENCE" http://www.truththeory.org/pyramids-of-waste/

"The 2.6.32 kernel is from Froyo 2.2. The .35 kernel is GingerBread"

If only they can speed up their Android support for their Xperia handsets I'd be more than happy to get one
