Retro and Homebrew Gamers are buying this Phone. These People who buy the PSP and do homebrew or the people who buy open source handhelds wish something like that. With Emulators they can play every Games till the PS2 era. Including Android Games with a real gamepad and psp Games in one system.

I need a Mp3 Player, Handheld and a cellphone and i dont have a bag around me so all that in one is perfect fo me and many others in the homebrew scene.

GSMArena, I have to give you guys kudos yet again. You've been ahead of the curve with news about this PSP phone and it's been good solid news. Well done. I'm still getting either the N8, or E7 (or the N9 if it's actually coming out), but this would be a good gift for my nephew.

i can't think of the target customers for this phone. Gamers-on-the-go would definitely buy PSP or maybe atleast DS, and non gamers wouldn't buy this gaming phone at all.

John, 11 Jan 2011If the games are only 'experian/android' then i will not ev... morei dnt thnk it will l b xp/droid only.like d articel says it runs a psp emulator,so that gives u access 2 some of the best games 4 a handheld+itl run all d android games.and sony is surely going to make game devs develop xclusive games 4 it.since it has a dual touch pad(alt to analog sticks) or whatever u say,it will have console quality games i think...i hope R*,ea,sqr enx and all d big devs work on this platform...

XPlay is looking better all the time. I really think that Sony would do well to make this device the true successor to PSP - maybe make a PSP2 based on this design but without the phone hardware, like iPod Touch.

I've said it before and I'll say it again - these days hardware QWERTY slide is almost redundant, so this is a great rethink of what one can do with the side-slide design.

Sony already has a library of games ready for this on their digital PSP Go store - assuming they can get their emulation spot-on - and newer games can make use of all the advanced hardware as well. Looks like Nintendo will continue having some competition in mobile gaming! ^__^

anyway its good to know that they know how to tempt people on this phone specially the gamers and this is now a complete package.. a mobile phone, music player, digicam, radio, web browser, smartphone feature like PDF reader, perf and now also a gamer's toy..
goodjob on this and i can say this will be the new revolution of a mobile phones.. i wont be suprise if other companies will copy this .. this is a good move of sony because the PSP games are not cheap but people are still buying and downloading games through the net and if this phone will provide what it promise hahahah they will hit 2 birds in one "phone". 1 proving customers a mobile service for communication and 2 getting people to download thier games on the mobile directly and believe me people really download a lot of games hahahahahaha
