Coolpad india official facebook page said about it a week earlier, about a the flagship launch in december. EUI alonwith leeco. Another masterstroke.

"The image you can see on the left below supposedly shows it in black, a color that's become more and more fashionable since Apple's gone the Matte Black and Jet Black route with the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus this year." - You may not have noticed it but this black color was there since a long time, a very long time. But Apple recently re-adopted this color.

Hermes1, 09 Dec 2016LeEco is rapidly running itself out of cash. Their billiona... moreThat Vizio move was just a dumb one plain and simple. You don't go in and say "Hey! Here's a nice cheaper than a typical flagship phone but we're bundling our TV streaming service with it!" just for the heck of it. Especially when that concept hardly makes a dent outside of China. Not even in South East Asia where most people could barely differentiate LeEco to Leagoo when there's already Xiaomi, Huawei, Meizu, Oppo and Vivo as the big 5.

Downright insane to have pulled one into the NA market where 90% can't even pronounce neither.

The way LeEco bloated itself through hasty overstepping into uncharted US markets without first forging alliances and partnerships which act is now singing it's top and bottom lines. Trading of the company's shares had to be stopped yesterday. The kind of doldrums the company is mired in, it's extremely unlikely that they could honour the eco system commitment they made while marketing their smartphones and TVs. The type of reception they are likely to get from the markets to their new phone is anybody's guess.

Their billionaire founder, Jia warned that its ambitious expansion was running short of funding. They expanded their business by burning cash, they got overstretched in their global strategy. That global strategy involves televisions, bicycles, VR headsets and slow cheap iPhone killers. Last summer, LeEco announced plans to acquire low end TV maker Vizio for $2 billion after spending $250 million to buy up 48 acres of Yahoo's land in Silicon Valley. LeEco is overspending its resources too much and this is keeping them from doing what they should do. Since then, LeEco reportedly lined up $600 million in new funding from Chinese investors after a $150 million loan with European banks fell through.

The company seems to be getting negative news in China as suppliers, Qualcomm & MediaTek, have stopped supply to LeEco. This doesn't look promising for investors, does it?
