            You can get dumbphones that have 3G calling support for $29 and have every bit the same battery life. There is utterly no point in 2G-only phones. Even "Developing countries" are not deploying 2G anymore. 2G is more expensive to run for carriers, and doesn't travel as far as 3G does. It makes no economical sense for even the dev countries to still be running 2G.

            Again, this has nothing to do with being a keyboard warrior, or a smartphone snob.

Only Sony xperia phones can run a few days, and that under huge restrictions in ultra stamina mode, but for an entire month? no way. Nokia kicks ass in terms of battery and they don't need any modes either to achieve that.

                      They are feature phones people, not high end smartphones. Stop complaining about it already and read some history. Phones used to be just phones someday..

                        What is the use of this phone in VoLTE/3G era? Nokia should add VoLTE and WiFi hotspot in feature phones so that phone could be used as simple calling device and/or data-card.

These days a basic networking switcher has 2g where 3/4 g has not been upgraded. Battery... really a 100$ Android phone lasts a day? I did say it is not that dumb. So basically the internet works!
