Sigh... You guys here zero clue about jack. First, most who Kickstartered pebble 2 are getting refunds. Second, ALL SUPPORT could drop but it isn't. Third, they WERE the pioneers who allowed birth to smart watches. Forth, you don't get how crowd source funding works. It allowed people with a vision to create and inovate new things other impossible bring a start up company. At least Fitbit understandsc what made pebble so special and good cause they're adopting ideology carried over from pebble with the staff going to work for them. Mostly the community and it's developers. Educate yourselves please.

This is a cautionary tale for buying electronics from a tiny kickstart company. From now on, I'm sticking to huge companies when I buy electronics!

What a disgraceful way to treat the people who made you a success. They should use the money raised from selling out to refund every single backer and purchaser in full. There should be a clause for every company that benefits from a crowdfunding campaign that guarantees a fully working, fully supported product for a specified period after their last campaign. Lining your pockets off the back of your supporters is immoral and just wrong.
