They'll buy the phones themselves if the home button and jack are removed.

Simply put, Samsung, do value what we proudly choose Android over iGabage for. (there're many)
..Though I've been using a bluetooth headphone for three years and do not care so much about 3.5mm jack.

It kinda worries me too. Afterall, Samsung is quite good at wireless audio technology. Their Level heaphones, Level U, & Gear Icon X are wireless oriented. If they force on this wireless tech on us they are going to be in big trouble. Accounting on their financial state, I think they will keep the 3.5mm jack because this way they can sell more earphones with 3.5mm jack which they probably have a lot of stock left. I'm seeing a lot of those still hanging on an entire shelves in Samsung Store. Needing to manufacture usb type c earphone would cost them even more money. Its very damaging for their finances. I wouldn't worry so much about dual camera(which they already ditch anyway) or bezel.

just remove the jack. since you are going to screw up the battery and screen on the s8. it prob wont even have stereo speaker yet. maybe in s9 or s10. and sammy, if you are making a s8 active, then make sure it gets out world wide! not just the us.

I mean I rarely comment and in the start I wanna say that I am not an Apple fan, never used Iphone...I had a Samsung once while my old Lumia was on repair,I use Windows10m and will continue using it untill this one dies on me so my comment is... When Apple ditched the jack..all android and of course Samsung fans were mocking..now when they copy Apple again... most of them are like...nah,never used it anyway,I use another phone for music blah blah... People are really dumb sometimes.

A Samsung Galaxy S8 without a 3.5mm headphone jack is going to be met with great resistance and a huge refuse from fans that's quite reasonable lesson learned

Remove headphone jack or waterproofing ... then it will be the end of Samsung for good .... Samsung will not bear any deal breakers anymore .. it has lost enough costumers already ..

It's good to have but it's not a deal breaker if they improved on other more important things. I've only like used it once since i got my phone a year ago.
