I thought this was meant to be a super speced "state of the art" show off device to show what Huawei can really do ?
What it actually is a so so device,hardly cutting edge hardware,wrapped in a curvy body,fine if you like overpriced,under-speced devices,but if this is meant to be the best they can do at the moment,then it's a great big fail..

Even fast charging , people now day want phone last longer with just single charge . And with that little battery of course it can charge fast it , if 4000mah can charge that fast it deserves to call innovation but only 2***mah . What wrong with these people . Overall nice design huawei but fingerprint better on back

Huawei is not thinking straight...they design a beutiful outer shell with QHD screen and dual camera...but the SoC is an old one??? It's like building a Ferrari and then go put a Toyota Altis engine in this fabulous body...thinking they can also sell at Ferrari price....this is the closest analogy I can think of...Stupid of Huawei to waste the effort...

Great looking device. If only price could be a little lower and Full HD resolution screen instead of Quad HD. Such hi-res screen is just a waste on 5" device.

Impressed with this phone's design. It looks gorgeous, and to be honest, one of the best looking phones out there right now!
However, here are some things that could improve this phone:
1) Optical image stabilization
2) 3D Touch
3) At least 3,200 mAh battery
4) Android 7.0 Nougat
5) HiSilicon Kirin 960
6) A 6GB RAM model
Implementing these features and specs would make this phone one of the best of 2017, however, I admire Huawei even more now, as they are trying something new, that might catch on later. Kudos, Huawei, you're still my #1 Android manufacturer!

z5, 16 Dec 2016so future is like, LOW mAh and "fast charging" ? That i... more90% in 30minutes is not a joke buddy. 2900 is still big enough. I strongly dislike the 2k screen with this battery though. Huawei is investing a lot on R&D recently. They are trying to win over smartphone shares and efforts are always better than excuses. Criticising others is easy. Praising needs some courage.
