Nougat update could bring fingerprint gestures on current Galaxy devices

Samsung's reply to a beta tester leads to believe the S7's fingerprint scanner could be updated with more features with the Nougat update.

          Fingerprint gestures like we got it on the Zuk Phones. Down for back, left and right to swipe thru the open Apps, double Tab for Task Switcher and so on.
          Works like a charm.

                          It's ok if they don't implemet it, there's an alternative already available on Google Play Store:
                          https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.ztc1997.fingerprint2sleep
                          And for enhanced stability it you can use Xposed:
                          http://repo.xposed.info/module/com.ztc1997.fingerprint2sleep

                          I know Xposed is still not ready for Nougat

                              Yes, like Gingerbread and Nougat will differ for TouchWiz.
