Anonymous, 18 Dec 2016That's good with me, my s7 is superb. FYI have fun with you... moreMy wife has the S7 and its great. I have sent my GN7 back and gone back to the GN4. There is nothing out there (5.5"+) that really says BUY ME!!. Hopefully the S8 has a larger screen as well.

Iphones are too restricted for me, other phones either have poor battery life, LCD screens or cameras that aren't great.

If it wasn't for Samsung, the iPhone 7 would be half of what it is today. Enjoy you coffee!

Sleepypandaeyes , 17 Dec 2016As they have discovered the case of the explosion issue the... moreI doubt that. Makes more sense to start using what they learned and apply it on the creation of the note 8. They are already finishing up the s8, their next focus on would be the note 8. It is would be a waste of their time and money to do what you want them to.

The note7 was way ahead of the s7e & that & the stuff mentioned already above. The s7 may have the same processor but the note has so much tech packed in to it & software is more streamlined even though it has never had any major update other than the green battery. It would almost take a yr to get used to all the features the 7 had. The s pen alone makes it leaps & bounds better than the s7e.then add all the software along with it like magnify, translate about 30 languages by hovering above text even without internet access. A anyone who had 1 & used it for long enough to use all these features will tell you that the note 7 was the pinnicle almost. I can't imagine too much more the can add to the n8 other than 4k which I feel is overkill as the 2k amoled screen demolishes most other displays on the market. From the moment it started getting rave reviews from testers I was seeing miss information about note 7 like like the non existent ram maanagemment issues & other stuff on YouTube like gg5 scratch prone issue. I've never once experienced any magor flaws with it & even now its with fi only I fund it hard to return the thing. The fact so many others feel the same & refuse to give up their note 7 & willing to take the hit yo their pocket rather than swap it for an s7e.I've used both but my note is the exynos variant which suffered less from overheating especially after the replacements. I don't think too many actually went up.I think it was a slight hicup from rushing production of the replacement 820 version. Samsung could re release this thing easily as the & but of course it will be powered by newer soc & small camera bump. I'd almost chose to keep it as a media & storage device & splashproof camera that's still a dam good device & its gonna be hard to give up.

Mir, 17 Dec 2016What makes you sure that they will tell the real cause .. ... moreI think, the real cause has nothing to do with Note 7 at all. Or with Samsung.
Samsung probably have found long ago, the real reason of those ''fire reports''
The point of the delay is most likely, that Samsung don't want to make a scandal with US(China and Taiwan).
US ans China markets are important for Samsung.

I just want to know when the next one will be released! I was so excited when the 7 came out. I was just waiting to pay off my old note. Who cares about the reports. Or the fact that they sents test results to UL. Post something when we have something that matters. Like what was the cause. Or when will the new one be out

i think the problem was they got too confident about s7 edge that try to same with note 7

it was weird to me they made battery 3500mh , but it was obvious it was squeze to thin.

and its problem apple also have.

I also doubt that they have found the reason why those Note 7s were exploding.
As someone suggested, of it was the tight space for the batter, they could have replaced or with 5-10% smaller one, which would have had solved the issue.

What did the Note have changed in comparison to S7edge that is flawless? The edges? I dont believe so, since the edge have them too and they are even more agressive! The big battery? Nah, the edge has quite a big one too. I would bet that its Samsung's first implementation of usb C !

Make sure you send me a final report as well Sammy. I have lost much confidence in your products. From an unhappy ex Shamsung user.
