I wonder what sort of processor it will have. If it runs a 1 ghz, they will sell millions of them, just like they sold millions of the wave. This phone really aims to compete with the HTC aria, xperia x8, hauwei ideos and maybe the optimus one. So far they dont really have any android phones in that range, that are recent (galaxy 5 is a bit old now)

At least the i5830 features is upping the LG Optimus One P500 that already grabbed a good million of customers in their segment. But being late, now Samsung needs to price it cheaper then a Motorola Defy that has an 800Mhz CPU also but a bigger screen. The Galaxy i5800 must go or be half-priced. For the style and look, one is Corby-esque while the other is Player-Star-esque, just mainstream Samsung. The first iPhone had no personality on the outside, the idea was to make it your own within the screen. These hardware are made to cater to an ecosystem of first-party and third-party add-on skins, bumpers, covers and so on to bring personalisation at the individual level. They are bland for a reason. Just hope they do come with genuine Corning Gorilla Glass so I can do without a transparent sticker.

why so much 2.2 complains? changes from 2.2 to 2.3 are not that vital.
I would accept that it carries the word MINI if it has Super AMOLED + 1GHz + smaller screen size. Otherwise, it's just a version of galaxy 5 or 3 or whatever.

Typical android oem, they really fvck the users! Android 2.3 already available but they sell new phone with 2.2 and make you next buy new phone for 2.3!

Wait to go Samsung!! Copy all you want that's why we love ya! Everybody copies/borrows designs and technologies from each other. Except for Apple, as we all know they get their designs/ideas from G O D himself, a.k.a Steve Jobs.

Wtf! This new mini already comes pre install with froyo while my vibrant stuck on eclair! Damn you samsung, all they want is for tmobile customer to buy their new samsung vibrant 4g phone! No more.

wew next iteration of galaxy 3 affordable phone got 800mhz + native adobe flash10.1 support+ flash light wit front cam. Digital compass too. Great major update to galaxy3. Hope its price nt more than 14k.
