[deleted post]No actually Mr Patronising. I run the latest insider build from the fast ring of Windows 10. Build 14986 to be exact and have run virtually every single build of Windows 10 for the last 2 years. Just because I want to able to customise things doesn't mean I want everything to be old and outdated. Not quite sure how you make that connection? Thanks for confirming you think we are all stupid and should all follow the world according to you because you know best.

I suppsoe everyone could be wrong and your right of course. So Nokia did a great update for touch screens. Problem is they were too late starting with them in the first place. Everyone else had moved on by then. Then again everyone could be wrong and you could know something we all missed along with the rest of the market.

It's popular because of the many apps in the PlayStore - however, 80% of those apps are mostly useless, and most of them are copies of the same app, but with slight variations.
Others want something more - more reliability, more features, advanced functions, advanced user interface, etc.
I know, because I've just switched from Android to Windows, and it feels like a much better OS than Android. Oh yeah, and I'm a tech geek / graphics designer. I know what things should look like and how they should work.

i really hope that we get nokia back and not just some china junk with a nokia brand.
my main concern is that the "new" nokia is not as good as the "old" was. nokia did some strategic erros in the past when it came to new tecnologies and form factors and was then assassinated by microsoft. anyway - hardware, software and build quality was always of high quality.
so the "old" nokia back in the days was brilliance, design, inovation and quality! i hope that "new" nokia can match the expectations! hard to tell by now...

I used to to know someone who worked for Symbian and they only did them at all when their market share stated collapsing. Hence why the iphone did so well.
