AnonD-145316, 19 Dec 2016Nokia always late on innovation????? My friend you dont kno... moreWhere smart phones are concerned it's true. They were too little, too late to the smart phone party. Hence why Apple and Samsung etc. were able to over take them.

Quote: The Finnish companyÂ’s unwillingness to embrace drastic change when it was required the most was probably the biggest reason that brought the mobile giant down. The company took way too long to embrace the smartphone revolution and when it finally did it made way too many errors in its strategy.

Nokia should have purchase Motorola. Looking at the latest ergonomics with square sides doesn't look nice to hold.

I love Nokia. I hate android. So the android Nokia's... well I am still excited for any Nokia. But my Lumia 930 still works perfectly well so I can easily go with that for another year.

AnonD-587142, 19 Dec 2016HMD runs by Nokia's veterans and its all current employees ... moreGood to know although would love to see some of their devices manufactured in Finland. Still is Nokia but HMD has phones made in Asian countries with lower quality standards.

I never really liked Nokia, they were the Apple of their age, overconfident, overpriced, always late on innovations, huge bezels, many restrictions. At the fall of future phones and rise of touchscreens it was obvious that the king was naked, it took them more than a year to follow suit. They were always late and overpriced and thought that name alone and hype would always attract blind sheeps, like the customera owned them their money. And again when the touchscreens phones evolved to smartphones and Android came to power, Nokia was again late and overpriced. They could nit compete with other brands in the same OS and their only option was an exclusive deal with MS, so that they would avoid direct competition.
I believe in second chances and hope that they have learnt their lesson, the android market is very competitve now and the first batch will make or break their return...
