samething will happen with all the new symbian devices
that are available now and C6-01,E7 and X7
after PR1.2 or 2.0 they will be all clocked to 700mhz+

And BTW, camera is not everything in a PHONE. The usability is also important. And there is nothing more versatile and capable than Android at the moment.

Okay guys here's a little confession.. I've been waiting forever for Nokia to finaly make their new flagshit phone.. The specs are unbelievable: Ultra sharp screen with 360 by 640 resolution (one of a kind), the world's greatest 8MP mobile camera without "auto focus" (what's that and who needs it ?), the world's most exciting processor breathing at 680 MHz (OMG can anyone believe it ?), personal-computer-like-os the Symbian3 (I could not believe it's possible on a mobile "computer") and this was only the beginning of a long feature list..
P.S Why so much hating in this comment section ? Why you people just can't run on a meadow and tell peaceful stories to each other ?

It can reach more than 800mhz upto 1ghz. By changing some thread architectures by they are calling arm7 cortex a processor which support full adobe flash 10.1. I was wondering maybe the pr 2.0 firmware upgrade which will have qt browser that support flash 10.1. So the pr 1.1 upgrade which will overclock the processor to 750mhz will change to cortex a processor. I heard future symbian nokia phone will have 800mhz to 1ghz thanks to the upgrade of pr 2.1 or 2.2. Sorry about my english if i made a mistake in grammar i'm still a student...

As such is not very usefull, if you lose your phone or it gets stollen. The finder/thief will have enought time to find the correct pattern.

Guess not. How many times you found a lost phone and wanted to return it but you did not know to whom it belongs? I did once. In an airport.
Not to mention, that if you decide to "keep it" you have to :
1. know to unlock pattern.
2. know how to remove that message.
3. find and uninstall all the applications who make tracking the phone possible(even google maps).

nothing else
if nokia uses the these clock speeds this is a equivalent to what android spec
600mhz 256mb = 800 mhz 512mb
800mhz 512mb = 1ghz 512mb
1gz 1gb = 2ghz 2gb
obviously symbian doesn't need that ridiculous clock speed
but the media wants it
