Honor 8 is not the brand's first dual camera phone but honor 6plus. Honor 6plus was relesed in december 2014 it has a 8MP dual rear camera

It's just not great) and the software sucks. But software comes down to individual's preferences I guess and I'm more of a vanilla Android kind of guy. When OnePlus 3T is officially available in my country I'll be sure to get my hands on it.

the notification "problem" has been adressed, you can now have either the number of notifications or individual icons, at least my mate 9 has received an update that changes that. Dont know if its regional.

Huawei/Honor both have really and conveniently forgotten Honor7.Not a single word from both the companies about upgrading honor7 to nougat 7 with emui 5.0.This is real cheating.
XDA Developers are saying that honor7 not likely to be upgraded to nougat 5.0.

Sadly Honor 7 is neglected, doesn't receive flagship worthy treatments. Nice device anyway.
