Among them are big-name flagships, a killer of those, a borderless one and also a midranger.

By the way, not everyone has got the money to get a high-end snapdragon device.
If you talk about performance, only Snapdragon high-end chips can easily beat most Mediatek chips nowadays. I have a chinese phone Doogee Y6 with Mediatek MT6750 processor, it scores up to 40,000 in Antutu. That places it on the same level as the Honor 5X. I got mine for $120, while the Honor 5X costs about $320. So yeah, it's worth it.
It's called low-cost and it has helped poor people get access to technology. You should try to see life on others' perspective.
And at last, there are a bunch of brands that mostly put Mediatek in their phones; yet they are on GSMArena. Gionee for instance. Maybe you just don't like Mediatek.

For me One Of The Best Of the Phone Will be Xiaomi Redmi note 3.
Although It Has Only Android OS, v5.1.1 (Lollipop) Version It Was Too Old Enough To Be Beaten By The Other Phone .
      In Regards For The memory
Card slot microSD, up to 256 GB (uses SIM 2 slot)
Internal 16 GB, 2 GB RAM - Standard version
32 GB, 3 GB RAM - High version, Special edition
For The Pictures 16 MP, f/2.0, phase detection autofocus, dual-LED (dual tone) flash And Also Resolution 1080 x 1920 pixels (~403 ppi pixel density) And Chipset Qualcomm MSM8956 Snapdragon 650
      CPU Hexa-core (4x1.4 GHz Cortex-A53 & 2x1.8 GHz Cortex-A72)
      GPU Adreno 510
not Enough For the Other Smartphone Users Satisfied By This Device However When it Comes With The Price Price group 5/10 (About 220 EUR) And With Non-removable Li-Po 4050 mAh battery it Was Good Enough With its price At All With A 200+ EUR You Will Have A Phone That Going To Match With The Other Device For A meantime

among all these sort of similar phones, im glad i have G5, at least it's different, Mi Mix is cool too

i think the lgv20 and oneplus 3T, both are too underated phones, but maybe the reason of not having them is the fact that these phones were released late, thus did not have sufficient time to gain fans, well i just ordered op3t anyway , just remove lg g5 and sony x performance

Had a full aluminum-phone previously and I seriously hope that I can buy a good, not-fully-aluminum-phone when I upgrade from Nexus 6. All-aluminum phones are slippery without annoying cases and I got some small electric shocks from my HTC when I picked it up from a wooden table at winter times... Not a nice user experience.

HTC 10 sure is tank, but has a lot of compromises aswell. And it is really overpriced. I would pick up OP3 in any way, it just has perfect quality/performance for this price.

LG v20 does jot have wireless charging so whatever, it is not a really needed feature. Also glass is just fragile, just drop a phone once, and you are fukd up, also glass is fingerprint magnet. Alluminium is currently the best material for smartphone, it adds a lot of quality and premium. Plastic just remembers us 2010 lol, its totally not a futuristic move to use plastic.

Good to see HTC bounce back with the HTC 10, for me personally the best "in hand" feel, best build quality and smoothest performance of any phone I picked up this year, a really great phone I thought.
I also thought Huawei did a great job with the P9 range and overall the Huawei P9 Lite I thought was one of the best value for money devices of the year.
Of them all I think the Sony story confused me the most releasing 3 "flagships" in the same year X, X Performance and XZ, I found it hard to explain to people what was going on there.
