    Now you open up with iOS. Stop twisting facts and calling relevant.
    1. You did not proof what you said about who has more vulnerabilities about MacOS/ OSX vs Win10
    2. iOS didn't give you any virus yet or security issues. (So why you cited a iOS issue and pulling everything to that argument confuses me)
    3. You did not provide any ADs given by Apple specifically showing them discriminating or hiding facts about their security.

    And do you know that Macs can dual boot Windows 10 / MacOS if they choose to? If your argument is truly true about MacOS, we can as easily switch to Windows 10.

      As an Apple fan since 1985, I have noticed that there are two sides to Apple, one that I like, and one I dislike.

      One is the 'dominant Apple', which it has been recently, and this Apple is the one that introduces the most incremental of improvements, of course further polishing products, but comfortable in their lead.

      Now that Apple is coming under all sorts of pressure, my favourite Apple will emerge, the 'Apple under pressure' version, where they will have to innovate to again leapfrog their competition.

      This is most likely going to happen with the iPhone 8. I am also hoping they will do something with Apple Watch Series 3 but we will have to see. They may surprise us with the iMac/Mac Pro but I am not holding my breath on that one.

The point is Apple purposefully projects the image it has few, if any security issues and try's to hide it (hence the ads), and when someone points it out with real practical examples (hence the quote). So both the examples I gave and you asked for are very relevant!

            Apples Denials and attacks on Jonathan Zdziarski are also one case of many. I quote "I continue to love Apple products and the ingenuity behind them.               Yes, once upon a time Apple was unrivaled. However competitors have learned from Apple. Nowadays Dell XPS, Lenovo Yoga 910, Asus Zenbook could easily take down MacBook in many ways. The competition begins just now.

                      I use a real Pro laptop. Thinkpad P50 with Xeon processor and 64 GB RAM and 3K screen. Windows 10 becoming more stable now after initial problems.
                      I don't know why Apple call their devices PRO. It is only standard with some gimmicks, but for a PRO price. After Jobs Apple is becoming more and more a marketing company only. It's sad to say that.

                          Going back to Windows after 5 years of using Mac is not easy. Even iOS on an iPad is better than Windows.

Many, if not most Apple users incorrectly believe this. While there may indeed be more viruses, malware etc on Windows, because it is by far more popular and widespread, if you are careful you can avoid them. Indeed OSX/Mac OS has more vulnerabilities than Windows.

It was one if the first things that impressed me. I liked the fact Microsoft recognises all operating systems have security problems and addressed it in their OS build. Apple likes to create the illusion its operating systems do not have security issues, but leaves its users vulnerable. The only virus I have seen on a computer or mobile device was on my Mac, when the security programme (I did have to install myself) caught one!

                                  Unless one is driven by hype or brand hate, there's no reason with loving or hating Apple products. If the aforementioned product doesn't meet one's expectations, it's time to look elsewhere. If one needs power, there are notebooks running Xeon server chips; if it's all about gaming there are SLI and CF alternatives; for portability there are rather light x86 Windows tablets...

                                    There are times when you can't be wrong on saying, "Because it's Apple".

                                    Probably this is one of lots of those times.

                                      [deleted post]I have to agree with this poster,I went over to Mac in 2014 due hating windows 7. But I just found Mac Os unfreindly as well.

                                      After Windows 10 came out I went back,What I will say is I got half my money back on the Mac selling it some 2 years later.

                                      There are 3 major operating systems in use, Windows,Mac Os and Linux. You would be stupid to believe that hackers would just target windows! That's like saying car thieves only target ford cars.

                                      All thieves are opportunists and by not having Security on your Mac is giving them that opportunity!

                                        Buy surface studio rather than wasting money on mac. Apple has the habit selling just anything in the name of innovation(??).
