I agree the G3 was a beautiful device. more so than the 4 and 5. And if the renders are correct, well then, I'm comforted in my switch.

This company is going downhill. The last nice looking device they've released was the LG V10; but unfortunately that came with terrible battery performace.

Bring out a LG V10 similar looking device with 4000 mAh and i might still consider LG...

If the design is similar to the g5 it will flop hard.

No way I was under the impression from the other article on here it was going to be a design not seen before and be completely different I don't know what to believe that render looks the same as G5 an ugly heap of poop#

I was hoping the G series design language continued to evolved from the G3 and not some "experimental" design like the G4 and a "prototype" design like the G5. They could've created the G4 and G5 as the "G Curve" and "G [Mod]ular" respectively like they did with the G Flex.

Firstly i do prefere the "grippier" feel of the LGG5 over the slippy as hell Galaxy s7 but design wise i think its on the ugly side. I totally love the wide angle lens and hope more and more phones come out with duel cameras for this reason but designed in a better way.

I'm not an LG fan so what I say matters cos I'm not saying this as a blind fan: I don't care what specs you have if your phone is fugly. It's as simple as that.
The G4 was the ONLY device from LG that pleased me in therms of design and looks. I even considered buying it at one point, that is till I found out people have bootloops and it's a pain in the az to unlock the bootloader.
The only thing I liked from the G5 was the lockscreen.
If you are like me and cannot live without a rooted phone, you would be very pleased to find that Sony provides OFFICIAL BOOTLOADER UNLOCKING on their website. That matters a lot for tech geeks!
I opted for Sony instead of LG because they had waterproof, which in my opinion is way better than removable battery, but hey, everyone is entitled to choose what they want or need.
Frankly I always support competition cos that's how phones get better and better, no?
If LG doesn't change the design in a drastic way, they will be HTC no 2 very soon. Kaput!

ugly. They could reuse the G4 design or make a smaller V20, instead they gone for that ugly thing

G3 was cool, then G4 was the coolest until the bootloop problem starts to appear, no unlocked bootloader that was promised, laggy rom and swelling battery, users are very disappointed already. Then the G5 quality and bootloop problems again. Don't expect people will consider G6 again.
