The levitation isn't there for show but rather to allow sound waves to reach further out without being blocked. one of the biggest problems with 360 sound. There's also the fact that objects can distort sound as it bounces off of them and merges with the waves that are not blocked. This removes any external vibrations and makes for clearer sound.

i think it looks cool, it's still yet to see how good it would actually be and i can imagine a lot of things that can go wrong (the whole levitating after it charges and all) but first impression was reallly good ^_^

It's not exactly innovation since there are already speakers like that around for a while.
