New report says iPhones dominated the holidays and app downloads peaked on Christmas day

Haha what a load of utter bull! These so called surveys and market research prove nothing! I mean how accurate are they? Did they go to all the mobile companies and ascertain this information? No they didn't!

It's just a media company trying to shove business one way or another! I had 6 emails from Apple between Christmas day and the 28th December they all went into the trash and 0 products bought from them.

6 emails in 3 days seems to me like a company needing business or begging for for flagging sales! I used to like Macbook Pros but looking at recent battery life's after 3 charges, You have to be joking!

I shall be getting something better :-)

            Love reading the iHaters reasons as to why iPhone was more popular! Of course it was because of the Note 7 not being sold & of course if the Note 7 was still selling then Samsung would be top, yeah, of course!

              i dont understand these statistics... what is going on? how can they track this? i mean, apple store and google play should be used for this, but i cant seem to find these mentioned in article. How can third party company collect stuff like this? Only google and apple can give this kind of statistics like seariously. I just smelll like thats some kind of apple advertisement, because this statistic does not reflect reality.

                  Most apps downloaded on Christmas day?
                  That pretty much proves we live in a zombie society! In stead of socializing with our families on this family day, we ignore ourselves and in stead spend all day staring at the screen.
                  It's sad.

                    Of course they did.

                      There was no competition only. Whatsoever changes are made to S7 like bringing new colors or increasing the storage, it can't replace Note 7. So obviously Apple leads it.

                        People used to bash iPhone for its price
                        But now Google phones and Samsung flagships are just as expensive as Apple
                        but way lower resale value

                        IPhone used to never put their latest model on sale during holidays in Canada at least but they did this year
                        No wonder they dominated the sales

                          Just beacuse note 7 is no more, other wise Samsung would be top
