No heating or an issue for me with Nogaut on my Xperia X. Wonderful update.

My unit too, but it does not show the same behavior as yours.
Heat and battery draining are normal

My Xperia X received the Nougat update the other day and ever since it heats up and battery drains alot faster. Is this common? Never used to do this. Cheers.

Faster Updates is OK but getting a stable update is Sony's forte which I have experienced a lot.

Anonymous, 28 Dec 2016That is sony. Faster updates, but highly unstable.https://www.google.com.ph/amp/www.ubergizmo.com/2016/08/sony-xperia-handsets-most-stable/amp/
              "Unstable" you mean?

Anonymous, 28 Dec 2016WTH, i know updates are region based but i was on stock 6.0... moreNot Surprised as my Xperia X too was a little sloppy with 6.0 MM and with Official 7.0 Nougat release, it is far better. Not sure about the concept release you are on as it's a beta which means bug are encountered/sighted earlier as well apart from performance enhancements :) Question is why don't we get stable ROM from Day 1?

WTH, i know updates are region based but i was on stock 6.0 few days ago and just installed the concept beta software because i couldn't wait, my 6.0 software had so many bugs and the phone heated up, now reading that sony has released 2 updates after 7.0 official release really grinds my gears. Also concept beta 7.0 seems so stable and much better than 6.0 that i wouldn't even swap it out for anything atm (Xperia X Unlocked EU from EU)
