And if sony keeps their design, this means, sony is making smartphones just for their fans not for new customers. Xpeeia XZ quality was pretty bad, as a flagship, it had a plastic frame, so sony skimped on quality materials. Sure, you will say you wont notice, but small things like that build the whole phone quality.

Also sony should trim top and bottom bezel, if they are not puttinf front facibg speaker, nor hardware buttons, also Xperia XA is not waterproof, if im not wrong. Sorry, im just telling you what i know. I really remember these days,(few years ago) when sony was such a high qiality brand, sure, it is still one of the best but there are so much better alternatives now. Sony still keeps prices high and gives a lot of compromises to their smartphones. Design should be really changed drastically. They should not be following apple.

Anonymous, 28 Dec 2016This is 2017 not 2007, sony bravia is long dead and they do... moreAre u freaking serious have u seen their new tvs it kicked Samsung in terms of black i know lg has the best black due to their oled but sony came second in terms of black reproduction and ill always go for a sony tv because any samsung tv we owned never lasted they always have light bleed or their displays form lines after 2 years of usage while the sony tv and lg goes on for years

The 2016 XZ was released in Q4 2016. The 2017 XZ will launch in Q4 2017. This isn't the XZ, idiots. It's probably just another midranger riddled with problems, that will set you back $600. Pathetic

Sony finally got rid of their fat bezels, and not just in mid range XA but also in flagship. When they focus on the right things this time, the 2017 XZ could be their breakthrough like HTC 10

[deleted post]This is 2017 not 2007, sony bravia is long dead and they don't produce panels anymore, they buy their panels from LG, Samsung and Sharp. Also the latest Sony TVs don't produce deep blacks as good as LG and Samsung and the Display they use in their phones are one of the worst until recently when they switched to IPS panels

It's more likely to be the XA(2017). The design matches the previously leaked renders. I can already sense that it will be unveiled at CES since the price drop of the XA here in our country matches how the price of the M4 Aqua dropped when the XA was about to be announced. If every part of this front panel is utilized (front facing speakers please) or if the spec sheet can match the Galaxy A(2017) series and have a price that can match it, it could be a compelling offer.
