For Me As A Gamer And Planning To Buy A Ne... moreIf you want lag free gaming, might as well buy a phone with a powerful Gpu ( adreno 530 in the sd820/821 as an example) and one with a FHD resolution (Xperia XZ, xiaomi Mi note 2, xiaomi Mi 5/5s etc.) . But if you want to have a good VR experience, choose one with at least a QHD resolution, example: Galaxy s7, s7 edge,LG G5, pixel XL and etc.

                  I for one would never buy a phone with a MediaTek processor or a... Huawei bleah!
                  I respect myself too much to buy a chinese brand phone.

                    "QUALCOMM FINED.." They are in good company. a*ple fined 150m for ebook price rigging scandal , and 500m Italian tax fraud + 13billion Irish tax tango. Hope a*ple aint involved here, its their territory. Wonder why their chips are different, hope its not some . restricted to them only kind of modification. ?

                            so i guess if nobody else wants to say it... omg $854 million is a heck of a lot of money!
                            and it even says that it's getting sued in other countries as well so that's a lot of $ going to the drain... i'm curious how much will it afect the company though (seems like a pretty profitable one)

You mad?Well..seen just from a processor standpoint, a Mediatek X27 is the fastest processor. It scores best in synthetic benchmarks ( maybe due to the Decacore ). As everyone knows, the GPU of the HiSilicon and Mediatek SoCs are not usable in demanding games. The Kirin 955 still had a Mali MP4 ( 4 core ) which is mid-low level. Seen as a whole package, the best processor is the Apple A10 fusion is the best SoC but in the android world, the SD821 is still the best.
